A media outlet ran by the Communist Chinese government tweeted a political cartoon on Monday mocking the U.S. Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms on Independence Day.
The Chinese media outlet Xinhua News tweeted, “How a gun-happy nation spends its #FourthofJuly weekend,” with a pair of U.S. political figures sharing a toast “To freedom,” with a third gun-wielding figure adding “… of shooting!” The blood-splattered gun-wielding figure also danced by a gravestone marked “Death from firearm.”
While Twitter is officially banned to the Chinese general public, some Chinese politicians and state media outlets are permitted to use it to spread pro-Chinese government messaging and to share criticisms of other countries.
Chinese cultural ambassador Zhang Heqing shared Xinhua’s tweet, adding, “With gun violence happening almost every day, how much could the human rights be guaranteed? Can that also be called the so-called freedom?”

Hopefully for their sake they already have something close to it.
They were under martial law for 40 years after Chiang Kai-shek took his forces to Taiwan, when the communists took over China. Gun ownership of all kinds was of course strictly forbidden.
I don't know what they have now, but its probably still just as strict.

There are no meaningful Second Amendment rights in Chicago or New York, so blaming the Second Amendment for things that happen there is maliciously deceptive. I don’t know about Toledo, except that I know it is also part of Blue America as the other two mentioned cities are.
And Twitter says nothing, of course. It pushes their agenda.
It would be interesting if the statistics published always stated the demographics.

There were German maneuvers in Europe before WW1 in which the Swiss sent observers. The top ranking German general asked the Swiss representative how big the Swiss Army was. He replied that when their militia was mobilized, they could field 500,000 (extremely well trained) riflemen. The German then said, “Well, our army is over 1.5 million men. What will you do if one day the Kaiser orders me to send 1 million men into Switzerland?” The Swiss general said, “I will order my men to shoot twice and then go home.” A similar fate would await the Chinese - but we don’t have 500,000 militia, we have tens of millions of them. We wouldn’t even have to shoot twice to completely obliterate any forces that they could possibly land here (and it is highly doubtful that the US Navy would allow any of you bastards within 1,000 miles of the West Coast before putting your junk ships on the bottom of the ocean.

So china wants us unarmed. I can understand why. They have 1.5 billion people who are monitored by facial recognition and rated on a social value scale. They have been trained to be submissive and to respect the enormous power of their government.
