Recently released satellite imagery reveals that China has embarked on what the Washington Post termed “a building spree that could signal a major expansion of Beijing’s nuclear capabilities.”
Nuclear analyst Jeffrey Lewis revealed that China is building what appears to be 119 missile silos across more than 700 square miles in the Gansu desert. Construction began in February.
The silos suggest Beijing no longer seeks to maintain only a “minimal deterrent.” The Chinese military may even be building a nuclear “war-fighting” capability.
Lewis, the director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, has also identified another 26 silos in China.

In fact, I'll bet he's getting his 10% cut for looking the other way.
They have the billions to possibly survive it.
I’d like to personally thank Bubba and his buddies at Loral for helping to make this all possible.
Why not post the whole thing, or excerpt with a link back to the original source?
The dirty little secret is that nuclear war is winnable and survivable. Americans have been scared into submitting to defeat. I’m not saying to start a war but thousands of nuclear bombs have been detonated above ground and we’re still here.
To be precise, 500 nuclear bombs were detonated in the atmosphere between 1945 and 1996.
Actually this one is on us. Historically China has taken the very reasonable (and relatively inexpensive) course of having only a “minimal” nuclear deterrent. While the US and former Soviet Union built up stockpiles of thousands of warheads and hundreds missiles - spending billions of dollars... The Chinese said “if we have X number of missiles we can always be assured of hitting Z cities in the US, no US President will risk tens of millions of casualties. Done.” With X and Z being surprisingly small numbers. Well, our missile defense system, designed with enough capability to stop a terrorist launch or a a rogue launch by a sub or base commander, or unstable Iran and North Korea.... Also has enough capacity to put a very serious dent in China’s deterrent since we could (or soon will) in theory stop many (all?) of their previous generation missiles. So in order to maintain their deterrent, they need more and more capable missiles.
Hit ‘em now? Or wait?
“Countries That Possess Nuclear Weapon. There are nine such countries that possess atomic weaponry and that are Russia, the United States, France, China, United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, Israel, and North Korea.”
O.k. you got me. 500 is still a lot.
Bernie Schwartz of Loral only gave Slick $300,000 for the go ahead to give the Chicoms the targeting ability to make their ICBMs functional. There was even a learning curve for the Clintons. With today’s regime, $300Gs wouldn’t even pay for Hunter’s hookers, let alone his drugs.
Japan could produce them any time they want to.
Nazi Germany 1938 is CCP China 2021.
In a like manner, the CCP operates concentration camps for ethnic minorities and is fawned over by the press of the day.
And heres me thinking thats what they aligned with Russia for.
Oh bullshit. They don’t “need” to do anything. We are no threat to them they are ruthless murderers.
The only thing that will deter them is a radical conventional and nuclear build up.
They have no “need” to attack the United States or any other country. They are wild animals.
They also have mobile ICBMs in a network of tunnels, which we can’t destroy.
Building fixed silos is for greater throw weight missiles so they can really batter us to nothing.

Most of those 500 were fission weapons not fusion bomb in the megaton range. An average of ten a year or one every month is hardly comparable to 40 weapons going off in, say a 72 hour period. If 15 such weapons hit cities in the US you are looking at 15 million fatalities, many more injured or sickened by radiation, transportation, medical facilities, food supplies seriously disrupted or destroyed.
When the proof of the fraud comes out and the truth of what happened that day any night and in the early morning hours they will find china was heavily involved and if Trump is put in they are afraid of what he might do. Maybe.
You are suggesting that we should launch an unprovoked, surprise attack that would start a ball rolling down a hill that would damage the US, Japan, and The Philippines; and the utter destruction of Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea?
I don’t think you’ve thought this through.
We should build a doomsday device as in Dr Strangelove.
