Free government is an impossibility until we restore balance to our beloved Constitution. That is correct in the extreme.
Unfortunately Constitutional law has failed due to the corruption of a politically motivated judiciary that sees the constitution as not a document to be upheld but an enemy of their beliefs. It is really that simple.

We need to repeal the 16th and 17th amendments, and we need to increase the size of the House of Representatives. Perhaps there should be a maximum number of people a congressional district can contain, roughly equal to hte population of the least populous state.

Great Britain is a country of 68.2 million and there are 650 members of the House of Commons. The United States is a country of 330 million and the House of Representatives consists of 435 members.

What would you think of making representatives “dotted line” to the state assembly? They would have their votes determined by the local reps who are closer to the people?

"History had taught that public virtue is the necessary foundation of republics. No republican government could last, said John Adams." True it is..!! All you need do is use google maps and walk the streets of the third world cities and see all the walls, security gates and concertina wire... Just LOOK and see what our future is going to be when as much as a 25 to 30 percent of the population are common criminals..
The streets belong to the crooks and the people live behind the bars and the walls... :(

The problem with our government is that we’ve moved the royalty to Congress. The House and Senate leaders need to be elected by secret vote.

"...Adams accepted the reality that Americans were as driven by the passions for wealth and precedence as any people in history. The difference between then and now is that once men like Adams realized the situation, they advocated and took measures to deal with man’s nature..."The heart of the matter. At least, you can tell, it is for me...:)
Thanks for the ping!

Some of the founders wanted to ban political parties as part of the Constitution. God, I wish we could now.
