The Morning Briefing: California Is Dumb Enough to Keep Gavin Newsom Around
PJ Media ^ | July 2, 2021 | Stephen Kruiser

Posted on 07/02/2021 11:35:46 AM PDT by CheshireTheCat

Happy Friday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Even the people who work at Speedo don’t wear Speedos.

I have written a lot these past few years about why I do and do not miss my beloved California. As I wrote in 2018, California left me more than I left it. The Golden State is still one of the most glorious places on Earth. It is also the greatest proof of how Democrats can ruin things.

When you take away the politics, everything about California is breathtaking. Sadly, Democrats dominate politics in the state and have for quite some time. As all sane people are aware, Democrats shouldn’t be left in charge of anything.

Ever.

If ever a governor needed to be recalled, it’s California’s Gavin Newsom. Newsom has spent more than a year jockeying with Andrew Cuomo and Gretchen Whitmer for the title of “Worst Governor in America” based on their responses to the COVID pandemic.

Unlike New York, California law allows for the recall of governors. It’s also one of only two states to have ever successfully recalled a governor. All signs were pointing to Newsom getting the boot, but it’s starting to look like he may wriggle his way out of the predicament....

A lot of people are going to vote to keep him. These same people are not going to realize that they voted.

“A lot of people are going to vote to keep him. These same people are not going to realize that they voted.”

They’ll vote to keep him. Then when things get too putrid to tolerate, they’ll move to a red state and begin trashing it with their voting habits.

And I still say he’s the favorite to get the Rat nomination in 2024.

More than 1.7 million people signed the petition to recall. That’s a pretty good indication that we’re done with this phony asshole, don’t you think?

If DC re-elected Marion Berry time after time.... why can’t Californians compete for ‘idiot voters of the century’?

I think a lot of people were “done” with Biden before November and look what happened.

I was born in Kalif in 1948. Moved to Utah in 1982. I have never once regretted that decision for one second. Even if the Mormons can be annoying they are vastly preferable to the demonRATs.

He’s passing out more and more free taxpayer money to lazy people who refuse to work (even though every business in town has huge WORKERS WANTED signs and the larger stores are asking people over the loudspeakers to sign up for jobs and get free “signing bonuses” or “vacation lottery tickets”)

so

he will win against the recall .. and stay in office.

Money talks.

“And I still say he’s the favorite to get the Rat nomination in 2024.”

Pelosi has input on that, so you might well be right. Whoever is the Dem nominee will win. The Dems will still be “counting” the votes.

If 90% of CA voted him out, he’d stay in with 60%.

The fix is in. This is what we get for letting them steal 2020

The media will clean up for him nicely, most people outside of California don’t know anything about him.

He’s got all the slickness of Clinton, the chicks will dig him.

The media will proclaim him "The Comeback Kid" and he's all set to ride to the Rat Nomination in 2024.

I personally know many democrats here who signed the recall and want to replace his stupid, lying ass ASAP.

“He’s got all the slickness of Clinton, the chicks will dig him.”

Isn’t that amazing? Men are the sexist ones right? But get a guy who is slick, with a nice smile, and women will vote for him, regardless of his policy positions.

No wonder this country is falling.

Well, there are still two months to go before the recall, so there is time for more stuff to come out against Newsom and demonrats in general and election fraud.

This stuff may keep enough would-be Newsom voters from coming out for him that the 1.7 million who signed the petition can overcome the fraud vote.

We shall see.

How many millions live in California?

There are millions of Republicans in California, they may hate Newsom with the heat of a thousand suns, but that won’t be enough to get this done.
