So the law infringes free speech while simultaneously, big tech infringes free speech. I'm not even going to try and wrap my head around this one.

Let’s see if DeSantis is a typical doormat Republican who will surrender to this bit of judicial fiat.

This is not a surprise, the law was always going to be challenged and a Federal Judge would issue a injunction to start the process of working it’s way thru the judicial process......

Look for Florida’s new law barring men from playing women’s sports.....

Exactly! This will be a strong test to see if DeSantis has the balls of steel to stand up against this ruling.

If this is the platforms exercising their free speech, then they what you see there is their content and not subject to exemption.

They say as a matter of law that they are a platform not a publisher? So how can a platform be censored since they s supposedly only provide a service and do not publish or edit content themselves?

Seems to me this judge is ruling that they are in fact a publisher.

Where was this "judge" when President Trump was being censored?

I wonder how much the judge was paid off by big tech?

Let’s all remember the Constitution prohibits GUBMINT from censorship, not just anyone from doing it.

As far as I recall Trump was not legally allowed to block people on twitter , so logically Twitter should not be allowed to block Trump . Though of course logic has nothing to do with the law

Big Tech is being censored from censoring everyone else.

Completely illogical, but emotionally correct...

Big tech (and most other large corporations) are functionally the government. They buy and sell our politicians and use this influence to gain big fat juicy government contracts (our tax dollars). The government passes laws to protect them and screw over small businesses and private citizens and in return Big Tech censors free speech that the government wouldn’t not be allowed to do.

Robert "Lefty Tinkle" Hinkle:

On August 21, 2014, Hinkle issued a ruling in Brenner v. Scott that denied the state defendants' motion to dismiss and granted the same-sex couple plaintiffs' motion for a preliminary injunction. In ordering the injunction, Judge Hinkle found that Florida's statutory and constitutional bans on same-sex marriage were federally unconstitutional.

Hinkle heard the case Jones et al v. DeSantis which concerned a Florida law, SB 7066, which “required felons to pay legal fees as part of their sentences before regaining the vote”. On May 24, 2020, he ruled that the law was “unconstitutional for those unable to pay, or unable to find out how much they owe”.

And now this.

Goose-stepping Lefty appointed by Rapin Bill.

"Tinkle" Hinkle also took senior status the day before the 2016 election.

The senile Lefty gasbag apparently believed the Media hype that "KrautFarts" Kankles was gonna win the election...

Not that I would EVER advocate this but I am surprised a whole lot more “judges” aren’t dragged behind American made pick em up trucks down rocky dirty roads.
I know there a whole lot of politicians who could use the same too.
