The Navy Command of Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit THREE ZERO THREE Mainbody forced all of its members on a gay pride hike last week.
According to a woman whose husband is active duty Navy the attendance on the hike was mandatory.
They all hiked while waving a rainbow-themed American Flag.

I have often wondered the same thing. Probably a habit based on a Gateway remark from many years ago. Many Freepers have very long memories for what appears to be a betrayal of some kind.
That, or Gateway is seen as a direct competitor for the same Demo as here, so it takes on a “This Web is not big enough for the two of us!” feel.

No it’s proof. They’ve been proven over the course of 16 years to be pretty much 100% full of crap, completely useless, and everyone who ignores them is better off.
This story right here is obviously false. As has been pointed out. There’s not 1 single shred of evidence in there that the picture is of a Navy unit, or that this was ordered. Nobody is even wearing a Navy t-shirt.

There is no proof offered in your opinion that those people are not Navy members of the SeaBee’s outfit they say they are.
The fact they are not in uniform does not PROVE they are not who GP says they are. No service member spends their every waking moment in uniform unless they are deployed in a combat situation. There are many events that units participate in, in civvies.
Again, I have seen no Definitive Proof that GP is a blatantly false purveyor of news to cause such hostility by some Freeper’s that I see in every posting of their articles.
And, no one has posted even one concrete, verifiable, an example of their malfeasance in reporting. All I see is angry diatribes with nothing whatsoever to back up the angry diatribes. Your response in just another example of this.

I don’t need to offer proof THEY DO. THEY WROTE THE STORY. All they have is a picture of some people on the beach with a rainbow flag. And then:

and in the Navy, not proven
and these people are all in the Navy, not proven
and that this is part of a hike, not proven
ordered by the brass, not proven
They might not spend all their time in uniform. Which is part of why they have non-uniform “logowear”. And generally, when doing stuff that is ordered, guys will at least wear the logowear. Really when was the last time you saw 30 active duty guys on ordered duty with NOT A SINGLE DAMN ONE OF THEM wearing ANYTHING indicating they’re in the service?
Gateway Pundit has not posted one concrete, verifiable example that this story is vaguely true. It’s 4th hearsay at best.

GP states unequivocally they are SeaBee’s forced to participate in a Gay Pride event. They are in civvies. Not in uniform. Therefore you claim they are full of crap.
On what basis do you make that claim? That they are not in uniform? As I stated, our troops participate in many events in Civvies. And, they are often offered no choice but to participate because their command tells them to. This is a stone-cold fact. You infer the woman is a liar. What proof do you offer that she is in-fact lying?
