Rats come crawling out of the walls in a viral video when a man feeds a snake into a hole in the wall for "natural pest control."

The video, shared on Twitter by @STFU_anajai2, shows a 45-second clip of the YouTube video originally posted by user Daily Memeow.

The Twitter video shows a man feeding a small snake into a cut hole in the wall. The man then places a bucket underneath the opening in the wall to catch the rats. As the rats start crawling out, the man helps them along with a broom. He covers the bucket with a thin box to make sure each one rat doesn't escape while he tries to get the rest of them out.

The posted article contains a picture of a corn snake. However, the actual snake in the video appears to be small python. given its relative thickness, head shape (heavy tringle) and shortness. All in all a good way to get rid of rats and mice. Ever since a 6 foot rat snake came to reside in the woods near my place here in E TN I've had no mice.

We spent thousands trying to get the rats and mice out of our home and yard - our neighbor was doing a lot of home renovation and that’s when the rat/mouse problem appeared.

None of it worked.

It wasn’t until we got our latest kitty - she’s a rescue and comes from a long line of ally cats - and is a fierce hunter.

I just wish she wouldn’t bring them into the house after she slays them - two nights ago she dragged in a large tree rat that she’d executed.

Except for the dead rodents (gophers too) that she’s brought into the house, we haven’t seen a single (live) one inside since we got her.

Best rat/mice control ever.

So what did he put in the wall to get rid of the snake?

And why am I thinking about the old lady who swallowed a fly poem?

Rat snakes are great and non-poisonous.

Honestly, non-poisonous snakes are one of the best animals to have around us.

Another under-appreciated creature is the non-poisonous spider.

IS this the video?

I didn’t want to click on MSN link. I guess helping Youtube isn’t much better but MSN is acting like a blogger here anyway. The video is the story.

Yeah, I think it’s staged as well. In fact it looks like the after the first rat exits, the rest are just repetitions of the first.

It’s a beautiful locale Boa Constrictor and I’m not happy.

How did he get it back out?

That was a domesticated fancy Irish Rat.

What kind of a dick is this loser?

I’d laugh my ass off if the Herpophiles got hold of him.

At least he gets some screen time. What about the joker shoving rats through from the other side?

The idiots who piped up for this say the snake is “trained to do this”.

I am here to tell you that you cannot train a snake to “do” *anything*.

They do as they will, your pitiful desires be damned.

I’m sure the guy shoving the rats out the hole got the snake put away safely.

Youtube is lousy with people doing wretched things to animals for “isn’t this funny” hits.

They monetize their channels and the animals pay the price.

Scumbags.

I hope.

It looks like some very unusual South or Central American locale BCI.

First guess is a Boa Longicauda, second is an Aztec pattern BCI.

Neither are cheap snakes.

Snakes are either venemous or non-venomous.

LOL! Get a Great Dan and he’ll welcome strangers, want to sleep with you, and constantly demand to be scratched while the kitty kills the rodents.

Cats are instinctive to show evidence of their day. I have an indoor cat who has a toy mouse that she lays by the bed every evening while I sleep.
