In before the 1911 cultists(😁) barge in and scream, "I'll never own one of those plastic guns!"

Yeah I own several Glocks and use them for EDC.

Fun to shoot, accurate, easy to clean.

OK, what's your favorite "non-Glock" handgun?

Smith & Wesson has a new M&P Shield ez that is easy to rack designed for women, I guess. Also has some safety features absent in the other ones.

I have the P320, but am thinking of getting a S&W M&P as well.

I have several XDs, the CZ P10C, the P320 and had the first generation M&P. All are great guns and you can’t go wrong with any of them but the used Glock market is also very affordable.

My daily carry is a Sig P365. It’s perfect for pocket (in a sticky holster) or an ankle carry. (Just bought an Alien Gear ankle holster. I’ve worn it one day around the house and one day in public. Jury is out on it, though.)

The gun “feels right.” It’s the only gun where I placed a decent fist sized grouping at 30 feet on the first loadout. but, that may be due to all the other guns I’ve fired adding up to a modicum of skill. (Not sure, though. It could be the gun.)

Why don’t Glocks have safety switches?

Glocks do have ‘safety switches’ they’re between your ears.

Q: “Why don’t Glocks have safety switches?”

A: Because rappers think a safety makes them look gay.

It’s not the gun, it’s the ammo. I can’t find any, at any price for some calibers.

Not a bad article considering it’s Field and Stream.

The answer to your question is “CZ”.

Yeah, the most common ammo, 9mm/.223 has always been available (for a price); other calibers have been tough to find.

If the gun has a real safety, one can’t really compare it to a Glock.
