Yeah I own several Glocks and use them for EDC.
Fun to shoot, accurate, easy to clean.
OK, what's your favorite "non-Glock" handgun?
Smith & Wesson has a new M&P Shield ez that is easy to rack designed for women, I guess. Also has some safety features absent in the other ones.
Kimbers are very nice ... in 45
I have the P320, but am thinking of getting a S&W M&P as well.
We have a sig p220 and a Taurus 357 magnum.
But i could always use another.
S&W Model 65 with cleaned up action and custom coco bolo grips. Oh, and a Kimber in .45...
My daily carry is a Sig P365. It’s perfect for pocket (in a sticky holster) or an ankle carry. (Just bought an Alien Gear ankle holster. I’ve worn it one day around the house and one day in public. Jury is out on it, though.)
The gun “feels right.” It’s the only gun where I placed a decent fist sized grouping at 30 feet on the first loadout. but, that may be due to all the other guns I’ve fired adding up to a modicum of skill. (Not sure, though. It could be the gun.)

Why don’t Glocks have safety switches?
Man oh man, if only I didn’t live in the Democratic People’s Republic of Cuomblasio.
It’s not the gun, it’s the ammo. I can’t find any, at any price for some calibers.
Not a bad article considering it’s Field and Stream.
The answer to your question is “CZ”.
Rick island armory 1911a1 gi milspec. Inexpensive and accurate
A good option
If the gun has a real safety, one can’t really compare it to a Glock.
The Ruger Security 9 should be on this list. It’s similar to a G19 but for about $300-ish dollars.
Walthers are the best - but I don’t see them to be substantially less expensive than Glocks, at least online. Local stores might be marking Glocks higher due to name recognition-induced demand.
I’m confused. According to the media, all firearms are either a Glock or an AR.
Sig Sauer P228
Love my XD pistols. Have 3 of them.

Oldest son bought a Canik TP9 and I ridiculed him for it. Then we went to the range. I took my HnK 9mm and he brought his Canik TP9.
Straight up: The Canik TP9 is a fine weapon. Put a human silhouette target 40 feet out, took aim, and the first bullet went right through where the left eye would be. (I was aiming for dead center in the head.)
One minor adjustment with how I was aiming and every round went exactly where I aimed. Can't complain about that! The Canik TP9's a fine weapon in my book and I say that as an HnK bigot. (All my handguns are HnK.)
Up until the riots, I used to carry a 9mm Taurus G2C. Inexpensive, fairly accurate and easy to conceal.
Since the riots, I’m now carrying a full-size M&P in .40S&W with CrimsonTrace laser...along with an extra magazine.
The wife carries a 9mm CZ PO1 which is a pretty sweet pistol.
Springfield XDM, CZ, and Sig Sauer. All excellent guns. My carry gun is a Glock 23.
