Earlier today, as RedState reported, Joe Biden launched into another dementia-laden rant where he talked about nuking Americans and shooting deer in kevlar vests. No, I’m not being facetious. That actually happened (see Biden Accidently Makes Best Ever for Second Amendment in Speech Promoting Gun Control Initiatives).
In one of the best arguments for the Second Amendment ever spoken by a president, Biden asserted that no one can stand up to the government without F-15s and nuclear weapons. He seems to have a thing for the F-15, having mentioned it several times in this context and perhaps not realizing that the U.S. Military has an array of other fighter-bombers to murder U.S. citizens with. I mean, if you gonna threaten to vaporize your countrymen, at least diversify a bit.
BIDEN: "Those who say the blood of Patriots, you know, and all the stuff about how we’re gonna have to move against the government… If you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons." pic.twitter.com/BDawoxvMcd

The arguments against this are legion. I could point out that in order to nuke your own citizens, you’d need to have a military willing to do that. Even though I don’t trust the military as far as I can throw them when it comes to protecting the rights of Americans, I’m skeptical any military leader would order a tactical nuclear strike on Montana.
I could also note that rights are not based on whether they ultimately achieve a given outcome. When I vote, I may fail to elect the politician I want. My right to vote still exists regardless. The Second Amendment, which clearly was meant to allow citizens to bear military-grade arms, doesn’t cease to exist if the government gets powerful enough to defeat the exercising of it. Of course, there’s also the reality that the American military has been repeatedly thwarted by low-tech insurgencies because war is a lot more complicated than F-15s and nukes.
Regardless, it was something else that stuck out to me while watching Biden rant about things he has no knowledge of. Namely, that what he’s saying blows up the Democrats’ January 6th narrative.
Stick with me here. If Biden and his party truly believe the government is so all-powerful that any possible rebellion would be put down with ease, then how does that square with their claims that our “democracy” was on the brink of destruction on January 6th because some unarmed people took selfies in Pelosi’s office? Either our system of government is so fragile that a dude in horns and facepaint can threaten its existence, or it’s so untouchable that the government would just nuke anyone who got within a mile of doing any harm to it. Which is it? Because it can’t be both.
Are you starting to see how the Democrats’ views on guns and government power shift on a dime in order to sustain their political narratives?
The truth is that if enough Americans felt the government had become tyrannical and rose up against it with arms protected by the Second Amendment, things would be a lot more complicated and gray than “well, the military has nukes.” We’ve seen that reality play out in foreign countries many times. Further, the very fact that Biden would threaten such is yet more proof the Second Amendment must be protected.
Going back to January 6th, as I’ve said several times before, there was no insurrection or imminent danger to our system of government. To pretend that for partisan gain was always pure hysteria mixed with cynicism. I’m just glad Biden came out and made that clear, even if he didn’t realize it.
They weren’t forbidden from owning any weapon. You could raise your own militia and arm it with cannon and grapeshot.
Target Bill Smith in Austin Texas he has a gun
Would some one, SOMEWHERE remind this doddering old fool of the “Letters of Marque and Reprisal” clause in Article I, Section 8 of the constitution. Privateers routinely equipped their ships with legally purchased cannon and they didn’t even HAVE A LICENSE FROM THE NON-EXISTANT ATF!!!!
After the War Between the States, the federal government openly advertised about public auctions of surplus military cannon. Ordinary citizens routinely purchased them, and they were fully operational.
But I would like to thank Cho Xiden for reminding us of the reason for the citizenry to possess F-15’s and tactical nukes too....
I’m not so sure that these nut jobs would not “suicide” America. I think what he said should be taken seriously. He sounds like an enemy combatant, not a US president.
Regardless of the various reasons Americans support the 2nd amendment - that is not what Biden is referring to. Which is what thus thread is referring to. Biden referred to US citizens potentially using firearms against their own tyrannical gov’t.
“Just look at 4 star General Millie Millicent. Not exactly Ike, Bradley, LeMay, Patton etc.”
Patton would have him cleaning latrines.
Of course it was:
BIDEN: “Those who say the blood of Patriots, you know, and all the stuff about how we're gonna have to move against the government… If you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.”
“...Biden asserted that no one can stand up to the government without F-15s and nuclear weapons”
Yeah, the Brits and Huns said the same thing...
Aside from the ridiculous stuff he was saying, Biden sounded even more incoherent than usual. Sounded like he could barely talk.
Yep, agree.
Maybe he gets 10% of sales, for the Big Guy.
😂
I heard what he said.
He wasn’t threatening to use nukes on citizens
He was ridiculing people who think their AR15s are a deterrent against government tyranny.
Let’s say I’m Superman, and a group of humans say they ought to be able to have red underpants and a cape too, in case I abuse my super powers.
If I laugh and say they would need a lot more than red underpants and a cape - that is NOT a threat, that is ridicule.
Biden was a moron for saying that, because people will take it all different ways - but it was an insult - not a threat.
The implication was, we (the Federal Government) have F-15’s and Nukes and YOU (the People) don’t.
That’s a threat, same as when DEMONCRAT Representative Swallowell said essentially the same thing.
Funny, if he thinks AR-15’s aren’t a threat, why does he want to ban them?
Same goes for the Election. If he thinks it was fair and square, why is his Just Us Department trying to stop the States from auditing the results?
Except he was.
He was ridiculing people who think their AR15s are a deterrent against government tyranny.
AR15’s, AK47’s and all kinds of weapons (outside of nuclear weapons) have been used to remove illegitimate, dictatorial regimes all over the world, that continued to terrorize the opposition, just like the Dementia Joe regime is doing.
Let's say I'm Superman, and a group of humans say they ought to be able to have red underpants and a cape too, in case I abuse my super powers.
If I laugh and say they would need a lot more than red underpants and a cape - that is NOT a threat, that is ridicule.
Your analogy does not even come close to this situation.
How did the massive Soviet nuclear weapons do in stopping the masses from removing the tough, ruthless, dictatorial Soviet regime?
The nuclear weapons and the Sukhois and MIG’s had zero effect on anything.
You can't use nuclear bombs on the opposition in Moscow or Washington DC or within the same country cause the after effects will kill you in the White House, congress etc too.
Not even the Soviet regimes ever issued out such an abhorrent threat against it's own citizens. Dementia Joe is setting new standards in terrorist intimidation.
Good point....Nuke me and you are nuking your own voters..Who will be left?????
The same voters who’s ballots appeared after 2 AM on Election night.
Annnnd think of all the newly dead voters....
Fine if you want to call that a threat - I certainly don’t feel threatened by the possibility of Joe nuking me. When there is a zero chance it’s not a threat.
The real threat from this is foreign powers seeing that we have a retard as commander and chief.
