The only people who fight to prevent an audit of their operation are people who have something to hide.
I have been involved in hundreds of audits around the world. I’ve performed audits across the US, in Canada, the UK, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Argentina, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.
I’ve performed operational audits, IT-related audits, financial audits, and fraud audits.
I’ve reported on processes, financials, IT, and operational activities, some of which were very good and some that were not.
In all the audits I’ve participated in I have never seen the ‘auditee’ (the person who owns the process or financials) complain the way the Democrats do in response to the audit going on in Maricopa County.
I’ve never had auditees select their own auditors and have them perform their audits to show everything was working fine before I performed my audit, like the Board of Supervisors did in Maricopa County.
(In this case, the selected auditors reviewed a couple of audit machines and said they were working fine and because of this, they claimed the entire 2020 election was fine. They didn’t look at a single ballot – 2.1 million ballots and they didn’t look at one.)
I’ve never seen an auditee complain to the media about the audit that I was performing.
I’ve never had an auditee beg me not to perform an audit of their shop.
I’ve never had an auditee threaten a lawsuit if I performed an audit.
I’ve never had a politician push his fellow politicians and agencies to stop an audit.
Nope, never had any of this happen.
What a dumb article.
Who here wants to be audited by the IRS?
And innocent people should never refuse to talk with the FBI.
Come on man.
The only people who fight to prevent an audit of their operation are people who have something to hide.
BS. Hoft is a fool.
Nobody wants an IRS audit, chicanery or not.
If you believe this crap, you’re a fool. Trust Lois Learner, trust Timothy Geitner... trust James Comey....no thanks
In this situation, I do believe that comment is pretty sound
though.
The Leftists swore there was no evidence.
So prove it.
What a dumb article.
Who here wants to be audited by the IRS?
**********************************************************
The article is 100% accurate in my view.
I have been audited by the IRS a few times. I gave them what they wanted, explained my position, listened to their position and in the end a compromise was reached. Because I don’t cheat on my taxes I don’t fear the IRS and I have prevailed at least 90% of the time while the compromise came on the other 10% where I had to pay a few dollars but nowhere near what they initially claimed I owed.
The secret n dealing with them is to keep meticulous, detailed and voluminous records.
From a Food Safety perspective - Our policy to suppliers and ISO is we are prepared (as best as possible) for unannounced audit. For FDA and USDA we always have to be current and prepared where policies reflect what we are doing in facility.
That stated- Never ever volunteer anything to a government entity- Answer with counsel only what is asked as succinctly as possible
No one wants an audit of anything by anyone. Why? Because you’re hiding something? No. Because you have to immediately stop whatever you are doing that earns you money to prepare for an audit, review your records for completeness, sit through the audit and then answer audit questions that can run into thousands of words. Also, you may need to explain extremely complex processes to someone who has zero background in whatever it is you do. All of which consumes time You’d otherwise use productively to earn money.
nobody likes an IRS audit but do you refuse to cooperate and claim it is illegitimate?
“When eople don’t want an audit-they are hiding something”
This can be used as an argument against those who didn’t want an investigation into the 6 Jan 2021 protest in Washington D.C., against those who didn’t believe the investigation would be any more honest than the election.
Are you implying that the elections was on the up and up?
This article is a trap to get conservatives to stand up and say “yeah, audits suck, we should not have them” because as useful productive citizens, we associate audit with IRS. To which the dems will say “yeah, we agree, shut down the audits of the election!” because those are the only audits that they hate.
“nobody likes an IRS audit but do you refuse to cooperate and claim it is illegitimate?”
I tried that once, but only because it was.
In the end I only got really annoyed before giving them all the documentation in triplicate..
However, he could have used a better argument because as mentioned, no one embraces an IRS audit.
I have nothing to hide from the FBI, the IRS, or the Justice Department. I sure as hell will not cooperate with them as they are corrupt. I will call my lawyer. You are correct, Hoft is a fool.
I am in the midst of a multiple year IRS audit. I did nothing wrong. I would prefer not to be doing this.
It’s a mistake to compare these forensic vote audits with IRS or legal audits of persons or companies. Apples and Oranges. Auditing a public election that is under deep suspicion of systemic fraud is PRIORITY in our system. Clean elections are a public-good necessity, and all our rights are downstream of the right to fair elections.
I’ve never had a politician push his fellow politicians and agencies to stop an audit.
When you have off shore accounts an audit isn’t a problem how ever a freezer inspection is.
