Long Branch, NJ police in full riot gear were dispatched to the vicinity of Pier Village Saturday night after a Juneteenth celebration turned violent.
According to Domigos Saldidas, public safety director of Long Branch, multiple officers from neighboring towns and State Police responded to help disperse the crowds.
“Right now we’re trying to have peace in Long Branch,” Saldidas said.
In one video recorded at the scene, people could be seen dancing on top of a moving car.
But a video that was sent to us by local residents reveals a lot of violence contrary to local reports.
In the video, a white girl is brutally beaten and the crowd just cheers!

Officers locked down the area, according to a report, as hundreds of people took to the streets to riot.
The Lakewood Scoop reported that people are allegedly trapped in businesses where work with no way out, according to the site.
The reason for the riot is unknown at this time.
The police advised residents to avoid the area.

Let me get this straight: We are celebrating when the Republican Governor of Texas ordered a Democrat General to go to Galveston and tell the Democrat slave owners to free their slaves, and it is celebrated by beating up on white people?
I strongly suspect any business that "ignores" Juneteenth will be targeted for destruction by the left - which the government will sanction.

Juneteenth didn’t suddenly turn violent. It has always been violent.

You’ll find a few references to what really happens on juneteenth using DuckDuckGo. Same internet, same searchstring, different results. google added code to eliminate any result that shows that there is violence by the people who celebrate juneteenth.

What an idiotic statement! If there were 200 Juneteenth celebrators, there were 200 reasons for a riot. 1000 celebrators and there’s 1000 reasons for a riot.
Yes, too many here are unable to see that.
There is nothing wrong with blacks in some states celebrating Juneteenth. More power to them. Slavery was evil and freedom from that is worth remembering.
But there is a lot wrong with what is happening here.
A community’s day is being elevated to a national holiday in order to push the cause for reparations, sow racial division, and decrease the status of days like the 4th of July.
