Imagine a Republican president exhibiting the same confused behavior that Joe Biden did during the G-7. A wandering, bewildered, unsteady-on-his-feet Biden, having to be led away by Dr. Jill.
And later, a befuddled Biden "correcting" Boris Johnson over his supposed failure to introduce the president of South Africa—when only moments before Johnson had done just that.
The liberal media would be painting the portrait of a badly diminished president. An endless stream of "experts" would be brought on to solemnly expound on the 25th Amendment, and the procedures and political possibilities for removing a president manifestly unfit to perform his duties.
But when the doddering president in question is Joe Biden, the liberal media has the chutzpah to depict him not merely as "calm," but actually as the "strong leader" of the free world.

During an interview with NBC News, Putin said Russia was no worse than the United States in this regard, and used the government’s handling of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot as an example.
Putin showed flashes of defiance when he was asked whether it was a “coincidence” that several other political rivals had been assassinated in recent years.
“We don’t have this kind of habit, of assassinating anybody,” Putin said when he was asked whether he ordered Navalny killed. (NBC News)
He then countered by asking whether the U.S. was guilty of assassinating Ashli Babbitt during the Capitol riot.
“Secondly, I want to ask you: Did you order the assassination of the woman who walked into the Congress and who was shot and killed by a policeman?” Putin said. “Do you know that 450 individuals were arrested after entering Congress? And they didn’t go there to steal a laptop. They came with political demands. 450 people have been detained. They’re facing jail time, from 15 to 20 years. And they came to Congress with political demands. Isn’t that persecution for political opinions?”

FReepers often suggest that Morning Joe has a minuscule audience. That’s understandable, but the fact is that they have been averaging over 1 million daily viewers for many years.
I remember Imus after he slandered the Rutgers women’s basketball team who had won the national championship. Justifiably, he had to crawl on Al Sharptons morning interview show, they let him wander around the studio live online while he begged for forgiveness - Rush Limbaugh was one of the few to defend him for “not intending” what Imus said, although Imus had been a crap weasel for years. A few weeks later, Rush Limbaugh said something very minor in comparison to the filth Imus put out and Imus gave him no quarter. A real bozo.

Imus let politicians and media people on his show and that won him preferred status as a beltway ‘must listen’. I think “Morning Joe” is the same. Not many people outside DC care, but within the bubble they all think it’s a nationwide opinion shaping show rather than the left wing uniparty echo chamber that it is.
