For later.
My tap class did a jitterbug routine to In the Mood at our dance recital. I think I was 13 or 14. I can remember about one combination.
You might like this, not big band though:
Harry Belafonte - When My Baby's Not Around (From the movie: Odds Against Tomorrow
Great noir movie.
That is more like classic jazz. Very cool.
Original 78 rpm recording scratches and all the way it supposed to be heard. If you scroll down you can download it,I knew I was getting old when I found ACDC in public domain lol

Thanks. 8>)
The movie is great too, and yes it is more of a jazz genre. I feel in love with it when I heard it on the movie. I had to pause the movie and go find it, and it wasn’t easy to find. It does not appear on album, at least I could not find it anywhere. Fortunately, someone must have copied it from the movie and uploaded it to youtube. 8>)
Also, for those of you who like music of that era as well as a little older than the 40’s may I highly recommend Radio Dismuke at https://early1900s.org/radiodismuke/
If you set on his mailing list he will send out links to his periodic marathon record collector auction previews as well as his 6 hour plus welcome to the New Year.
On a side note, Dismuke takes special care to use custom reproduction hardware and even 100+ year records sound remarkable.
Lest I forget, there’s also https://archive.org/details/78rpm
and https://great78.archive.org/
Enough music to listen to non-stop for the next several thousand years !
