It’s bad when the radical left is affecting so much, from media to academia.
But, what’s worse is that they are now they have control and are indoctrinating the military as well, the one segment of society that’s supposed to be free of politics and only concentrating on the defense of the United States.
We saw a sample of how bad this was in March, with military men from official accounts — and even the official Defense Department website — attacking Tucker Carlson.
But it appears to have gotten worse since then.
During a recent Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) revealed there were hundreds of whistleblower complaints from members of the military reporting on efforts to indoctrinate them. The excuse for some of this effort at indoctrination? Stamping out “extremism.” But what it was really about, Cotton said, was a “very specific kind of anti-American indoctrination” burrowing its way into the military. He told Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin about the kind of complaints that came into the whistleblower hotline set up by Cotton and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX).
Tom Cotton “I have received, along with Congressman Crenshaw, SEVERAL HUNDRED whistleblower complaints about Pentagon extremist and diversity training,”

“One Marine told us a military history training session was replaced with mandatory training on police brutality, White privilege, and systemic racism. He reported that several officers are now leaving his unit citing that training,” Mr. Cotton said. “Another service member told us that their unit was required to read ‘White Fragility’ by Robin DiAngelo, which claims – and this is a quote- ‘White people raised in Western society are conditioned in a White supremacist world view.’” Another was told the entire Army was racist.
He said one airman complained that an exercise called “privilege walk” was a “racist exercise.”
“Members of the wing were ordered to separate themselves by race and gender in order to stratify people based on their perceived privilege,” Mr. Cotton said, in describing the airman’s complaint.
“Mr. Secretary, we’re hearing reports of plummeting morale, growing mistrust between the races and sexes, where none existed just six months ago, and unexpected retirements and separations, based on these trainings alone,” Cotton said.
When Cotton asked Secretary Austin what was going on, Austin said that “diversity, equity and inclusion” were important to the military now, and that they wanted a military that looked like America.
That isn’t what the military is about. It isn’t supposed to be about a social experiment, wokeness, or kowtowing to the latest liberal craziness. Its only purpose is the defense of our nation.
This changing of the military, started under Obama, has tried to replace officers with people who were more amenable to the woke agenda. Now. it’s completely taking over and infecting all levels. This is not only a danger to the military; it’s also a threat to the country. If the military goes under to wokeness, we may be unable to respond to any real military challenge. We will already have been taken down from within.
And so what does he actually propose to do about it?
Good men are suffering.
RE: And so what does he actually propose to do about it?
Tom Cotton is a legislator, not the executive or commander in chief, other than pass laws, or as an individual, make the problem known nationwide, I don’t think he can do much in his position.
“Strongly worded letter”
I always thought of our military as our last bastion of defense for the US Constitution and the American way. Not anymore. I can’t believe it.
No enemy has to fight us. They’ve turned us on ourselves.
Cotton whiffed asking the SecDef questions. The woke train keeps on rolling through the armed forces.
Communism has infiltrated our military. We truly are under seige.
[[”Anti-American Indoctrination” in US Military]]
I never thought I’d hear such words in my lifetime- wow was i wrong
I have no other words.
I was career military. This indoctrination was first attempted in the late 80’s early 90’s. We were gathered into a group meeting. I remember it vividly.
The presentation was an anti-competitive presentation whereby the concept was that masculinity and competitiveness was presented as non-productive.
The premise was the American concept of I can do it better than you through the entrepreneurial spirit of competitiveness was denigrated.
The reaction was overwhelmingly negative.
In fact, the reaction was so negative at that time the presenters disappeared and the “classes” on this subject simply vanished without a trace and no one spoke of this afterward.
It seemed to be an aberration.
I can’t speak for anyone else but, I never gave it another thought. Little did I realize this was simply the first shot across the bow of the Anti-American Left infiltrating our military.
The men presenting this pablum were very senior enlisted and upper mid-grade officers (my peers at the time). Social climbers with no combat experience whatsoever. Desk Jockeys. Or, as the Vietnam Vets used to say, REMFS.
The left has infested everywhere right before our eyes. They have taken over the State Department and the IRS. They have totally taken over education and the media. Our Republican representatives have just let it happen.
How many RINO’s voted for Austin’s nomination?
Alot of good people are leaving.
This is not the same military I was in. It’s tragic.
RE: In fact, the reaction was so negative at that time the presenters disappeared and the “classes” on this subject simply vanished without a trace and no one spoke of this afterward.
How was the negative reaction manifested? Was there any complaint from the listeners to the higher ups?
When the American military is trained on US, because we are white, this will not be pretty.
I remember it back in the 70s. It eventually was called social actions. I thought the goal, was to divide people. They will never say that, of course, but many people had their own opinions. Maybe that was just a toe hold, at the time.
Boy o boy.
The former Soviet Union sure planted some seeds of some very bad fruit.
The harvest is now.
The Marxist bitches must be expunged from the Military ASAP.
One way, probably among others, was after the class, they were allowed to anonymously critique the whole thing. I imagine they got some serious blow back that way.
