The thread title and the post do not match.
According to the NT Jesus was the Word and the Word became flesh. Therefore, no one taught Jesus the Scriptures, rather it was Jesus that gave us the Scriptures.
No one knows, His life is pretty much a ‘tabula rasa’ until the age of 24 or so.
But there are many theories.
There was the Divine Nature of Jesus hypostatically united with His human nature. The totally united Person, Jesus, told His disciples that only the Father “Knows” the time and details of the end of the world. Jesus’ unfolding of His human experience of His divinity occurred gradually, therefore, as a fully human child, just like us in all things, except that He never sinned, He had to be subject to His mother, even in learning to speak, read and study from her. Therefore the Torah with which He astonished the Temple Elders when He was lost as a 12 year old, He learned from His mother.
13. And yea, the followers of Jesus would write a new book, and follow a new law, and worship a new God, but then claim to be Jews, and go forth in disguises, eating heartily of the matzoh and uttering words they felt made them seem more Jewish, and calling their churches synagogues, and chastising Jews whilst claiming to be “grafted in,” and there would be a great confusion in the land, and these men saw that it was good.
It is only our understanding of His life until 30 that is a blank slate, it was fully developing in secret, the same as how He was saved from Herod by secreting Him in Egypt, “The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her Child the moment He was born. She gave birth to a Son, a Male Child, Who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her Child was snatched up to God and to His throne.” - Revelation 12
Who taught Jesus to cure blindness, raise the dead, and forgive sins?
“uttering words they felt made them seem more Jewish”
The Talmud calls Jesus a bastard boiling in excrement in hell, and says that His mother was a whore impregnated by a Roman soldier.
The Talmud commands what the Torah forbids, i.e., cheating goyim, where the Torah commands that strangers in a strange land (the goyim) be treated justly.
Neat, But where was he during his younger years. Was his body corporeal with the Lord?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Who taught Jesus to do miracles? He could have appeared without a human mother. He chose to become born as a human. Who kept in her heart all the events of his birth and childhood? How did much that the apostles never witnessed, get in the bible?
Was His body corporeal with the Lord? The Gnostics tried to say that He was hovering in the air over the cross, laughing at the body being crucified. That’s why the words of the Apostles’ Creed emphasized that He was really killed by Pontius Pilate.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
Nobody “taught” Jesus. He is God.
Cool.
Oh, I see what you’re doing. You’re trying to say Mary taught him.
“According to the NT Jesus was the Word and the Word became flesh. Therefore, no one taught Jesus the Scriptures, rather it was Jesus that gave us the Scriptures.”
Yes.
