In a troll worthy of social media insanity, The Daily Wire‘s Matt Walsh launched a fundraising campaign for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ suffering abuela. The grandmother of America’s Wokeheart has been condemned to living in squalor and poverty ever since President Trump forced a hurricane to hit Puerto Rico and then forced their governor to “misplace” millions of dollars in cash and aid just to spite the big, bad orange man.
AOC made sure to show us the horrific conditions her abuela has been enduring, and of course, took the opportunity to blame Trump, because it’s been a whole five minutes since someone on the left last mentioned him.
Just over a week ago, my abuela fell ill. I went to Puerto Rico to see her- my 1st time in a year+ bc of COVID.
This is her home. Hurricane María relief hasn’t arrived. Trump blocked relief $ for PR.
People are being forced to flee ancestral homes, & developers are taking them.

Of course, many people wondered how a sitting congresswoman making almost $200k a year (that we know of) could let her own grandmother suffer in such squalor. Why wait for government to help, when you can rectify a lot as a family?
Walsh took the notion a step further when he decided to challenge AOC’s ideas that only government can solve all of our problems. On Friday, the conservative commentator opened a GoFundMe account aimed at raising enough money to provide for Abuela AOC’s housing repairs and more. By Saturday, Walsh said he had been notified that the recipients have rejected the money and asked GoFundMe to halt the campaign, even as it surpassed $100k.

I must admit that I called this one wrong. I was convinced Matt’s trolling would end up blowing up in his face. I was sure AOC was smart enough to take that money and figure out a way to ridicule conservatives for giving her their money.
As it turns out, she is not smart enough.
It’s pretty fascinating, really. We raised enough to change her grandmother’s life. We could have raised enough to lift her whole neighborhood out of poverty. AOC shut it down. She’d rather leave people to suffer than accept help from us. Very revealing episode.

Seems like something out of Ayn Rand.
1) You could give me money. But that would not make me happy.
2) I could take your money by force, via taxation. That’s a little better. But it still wouldn’t make me happy.
3) I could take your money through threat of violence, AND I could force you to say Thank You and insist that you were in the wrong in the first place for having money. If you apologize to me, after I take your money through threat of violence, then I would begin to feel happy.
I can see AOC snorting caviar and braying “my abuela would rather starve than eat Republican food.”
Oh, if a compassionate REPUBLICAN provides Abuela relief, then the piece of garbage AOC can’t allow the “theft” of her political pawn, Abuela. Better Abuela should suffer than no longer fit the AOC purpose. This shows the entire world that AOC hasn’t a shred of actual moral fiber in her entire self, adding to the long list of reasons to loathe her.
AOC had to come up with some money to get the abuela to decline.
Seems this is not a whole lot different than dirtbag 0bama not helping his half brother in Africa somewhere.

WHO KNEW that AOC living with her ankles behind her ears would cut off the blood flow to her brain...
Obviously she avoided helping her family in the first place....then she rejects the help from others.
The story should read.....AOC commits elder abuse by leaving her family member in appauling home conditions...only to further abuse AOC refusing help offered to her family member.
Aoc is not only the definition of stupid....she’s a criminal.
How do you know that?
For all we know her grandmother lives in a luxury high rise with a door man and this house was just an investment/rental property that nobody in the family wants to fix up for whatever reason.
AOC could be lying to us about what this house is and that could be the reason she won’t accept the money. Accepted donated money under a false pretense is considered fraud.
But she has to kill granny so she can blame Trump, just like Cuomo did in the nursing home homicides.
Have we heard from granny yet? And if she is suffering, and her own family is blocking economic relief to her, can they not be charged with elder neglect?

And here, in a very simple, clear, and utterly impossible to misunderstand true story, is the perfect illustration that Communists have no desire whatsoever to improve the lot of anyone. Their only use for people in distress, whether real or imagined, is as a weapon against the enemy of the moment. The more distress, the more weapons. Solutions are a real problem for the Marxist Lunatic Left. Theirs is an ideology of hate, pain, and despair.
