Official social media pages for various arms of the United States military showed their support this week for Pride Month, an annual tribute to the LGBTQ community.

Marine Corps Recruiting posted on Facebook on Friday, writing, “We celebrate the opportunity to serve together — as a warriorhood strengthened, not divided, by our differences.”

“Tearing down barrier after barrier, overcoming obstacle after obstacle, winning battle after battle for our Nation and everyone in it. That’s what makes a Marine,” the post stated. It also included the phrase “STRENGTH & PRIDE IN BELONGING,” with the “& PRIDE” portion in rainbow colors.

The U.S. Navy posted a photo of a rainbow with an aircraft carrier and helicopter in the foreground. The photo’s caption read, “June is #PrideMonth2021! Help the #USNavy celebrate by posting your favorite picture of a rainbow at sea in the comments below.”

Definitely NOT the military I was in back in 1966-1969.

Each year. beginning in Basic Training, we had to sign papers showing we had been warned about homosexuality and how it was a ticket OUT!

Some of us had been so protected growing up we had no idea what a queer was. We just thought it was someone a little weird.
We really got our eyes opened when we had to serve KP at the “Out Processing”(queer) barracks.

The Air Force also posted...that the military “thrives when it is composed of diverse Americans” and that “an inclusive military strengthens our national security.”

There has NEVER been any proof whatsoever that ANY organization "thrives" when it is "diverse." It's just a liberal trope that people blindly and mindlessly repeat.

Yeah, I served '69-'72 first enlistment, the Army specifically forbid faggots from serving.

They were not only forbidden to serve because of their perverted lifestyle choice but also because they would never be able to obtain any level of security clearance due to the possibility of being blackmailed into divulging classified information.

Now all is well apparently.
