This is what happens when you allow Democrats to rule your state — complete and utter lawlessness. For those not familiar with the State of Washington, it is like many Democrat-ruled states — they’ve taken over the big cities — like locusts — but the rural parts are quite conservative.
Here, from an upscale suburb of Seattle, about 45 minutes from the Democrat dystopia, depending on traffic, comes this CRAZY story that should not happen in a civilized country (emphasis added):
A multimillion-dollar home in Sammamish is at the center of an ongoing investigation, as squatters continue to break in and make the home their own.
“The amount of guns, drugs, etcetera that were confiscated out of that place are not for personal use or for any good reason,” Sammamish Police Chief Dan Pingrey said. “I totally recognize how frustrating it is for the neighborhood and it’s just as frustrating for us to be honest with you.”
The homeowner lives overseas, but a few people living locally help maintain the home with routine checkups. One of those workers stopped by the home and found 12 guns, bulletproof vests, more than 15,000 fentanyl pills, heroin, meth, and more than $40,000 in cash.
In other words, these were good, card-carrying Democrats.
One would think that the squatters would be arrested and that the key would be thrown away, right? I mean, this is a clear-cut case of property theft at worse and a violation of property rights at best, isn’t it? Well, not so much in this new era of “wokeness,” in which Democrats have all but completely abolished the rule of law, except when it applies to their political opponents:
The worker called 911 and police arrived on scene.
“As we were beginning to take a look at our next steps, an unlicensed motorcycle showed up with two people on it,” Pingrey said.
Neighbors identified the two people as the squatters and both were arrested for burglary, according to Pingrey. Both were out of jail within days and headed back to the home, bringing more people with them.
“After they were out of jail, we had a large group trying to get back into the house,” Pingrey said. “No one was supposed to be there. The homeowners were not allowing anyone to stay there.”
But that’s not all! The squatters were allowed to steal whatever goodies on the property they desired, apparently, including APPLIANCES!
Taking the advice of local prosecutors and lawyers, Pingrey said law enforcement is limited in what they can do. His frustrations hit a boiling point when the squatters demanded to be allowed to take property inside the home with them. Pingrey said, legally, his hands were tied and officers conducted a “civil standby.”
Pictures taken by a neighbor show police vehicles lined up on the street with officers watching, as the squatters filled a U-Haul truck with items inside. Another picture shows a garage full of appliances, including an ATM.
“We were not allowed to go in there with them and had to allow them to take this property out,” Pingrey said. “The person who had been illegally living there (was able) to come in and get what they stated was their property.”
Sammamish Police Chief Dan Pingrey assessed the horrible Democrat-caused disaster, saying “Somehow these squatters who are living in this residence have as much rights as the homeowner. And that’s very difficult for any of us to understand; It could happen again somewhere else and this is where people in communities really need to be diligent.”
The lesson: support and vote for those candidates who are anti-crime and who support property rights and other God-given rights.
Doctor Zhivago
lol yeah, Ol’ Doc Zhivago had too big a house and the revolutionaries decided to take it but they were nice and let them still live in the master bedroom upstairs.. until they decided they needed that room too.
sounds like an invitation to all criminals. Come one come all, bring your personal effects, pick a house, go right on in, stay a while, eat the food, take what you want, kick the existing people out the door.
The pushing on good law abiding Americans continues without much of a fight. When will that change?
We are going to have to start hanging thieves.
There are too many of them and they aren’t afraid of you or of having to go to jail.
Doesnt everyone have an ATM in their garage?
When dead people start showing up on the doorsteps..............
Now extrapolate this to the entire country as millions of foreigners squat on the land asserting that they own it.
The problem becomes apparent.
A blog posted as news.
Totally credible.
Yuri Zhivago said “Welcome” to the occupiers. “It is not for you to welcome us” replied Comrade Kaprugina. “There was room for thirteen families in this house”.
Seems like someone with a multimillion $ house could hire a lawyer to hire some private security to provide the squatters with a one-way boat ride.
I don’t see how the 15,000 fentanyl tabs and what sure sounds like massive amounts of stolen goods including firearms did not merit more government attention. Homeowner should report that the squatters were overheard complaining about voting fraud, saying Trump was really President, Viva January 6th, etc.
For a real jaw-dropper, look up “Moorish-Americans”.
… (T)he theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property. The rotten fruits are already at work in states like Washington.
We Communists have been reproached with the desire of abolishing the right of personally acquiring property as the fruit of a man’s own labor, which property is alleged to be the groundwork of all personal freedom, activity and independence.
Hard-won, self-acquired, self-earned property! Do you mean the property of petty artisan and of the small peasant, a form of property that preceded the bourgeois form? There is no need to abolish that; the development of industry has to a great extent already destroyed it, and is still destroying it daily.
Or do you mean the modern bourgeois private property?
But does wage-labor create any property for the laborer? Not a bit. It creates capital, i.e., that kind of property which exploits wage-labor, and which cannot increase except upon condition of begetting a new supply of wage-labor for fresh exploitation. Property, in its present form, is based on the antagonism of capital and wage labor.
Let us examine both sides of this antagonism.
To be a capitalist is to have not only a purely personal but a social status in production. Capital is a collective product, and only by the united action of many members—nay, in the last resort, only by the united action of all members of society—can it be set in motion.
Capital is therefore not only personal; it is a social power.
When, therefore, capital is converted into common property, into the property of all members of society, personal property is not thereby transformed into social property. It is only the social character of the property that is changed. It loses its class character. […]
In bourgeois society, therefore, the past dominates the present; in Communist society, the present dominates the past. In bourgeois society, capital is independent and has individuality while the living person is dependent and has no individuality.
And the abolition of this state of things is called, by the bourgeois, abolition of individuality and freedom! And rightly so. The abolition of bourgeois individuality, bourgeois independence, and bourgeois freedom is undoubtedly aimed at. …
— Communist Manifesto, Chapter 2
Even during the WuFlu all properties were kept rented and the renters kept up with their rent. A few late pays but no refusals to pay.
But in the past month four of the six have decided to sell.
It as become very clear that the law, never very friendly, is going to be tilted so radically against us that there is no reason to keep up our business.
“Nothing was your own except the few cubic centimetres inside your skull. ”
― George Orwell, 1984
The article does not make it clear who allowed the squatters to do what they were doing. Was there a court order? From what judge, and what was the pretext for allowing the occupation and the theft? Did the State Patrol intervene? Who authorized all of this nonsense?
Squatters have been pulling this crap all around the country for a long time, way before this particular residence in Sammamish made the news.
