The New York Attorney General's office announced this week that it will be joining the Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr's years-long criminal investigation of the Trump Organization.
Attorney General Letitia James said: "We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature. We are now actively investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity, along with the Manhattan DA."
Donald Trump issued a scathing statement via the Desk of Donald Trump slamming the witch hunt.

I have just learned, through leaks in the mainstream media, that after being under investigation from the time I came down the escalator 5 ½ years ago, including the fake Russia Russia Russia Hoax, the 2 year, $48M, No Collusion Mueller Witch Hunt, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and others, that the Democrat New York Attorney General has “informed” my organization that their “investigation” is no longer just a civil matter but also potentially a “criminal” investigation working with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
There is nothing more corrupt than an investigation that is in desperate search of a crime. But, make no mistake, that is exactly what is happening here. The Attorney General of New York literally campaigned on prosecuting Donald Trump even before she knew anything about me. She said that if elected, she would use her office to look into “every aspect” of my real estate dealings. She swore that she would “definitely sue” me. She boasted on video that she would be, and I quote, “a real pain in the ass.” She declared, “just wait until I’m in the Attorney General’s office,” and, ”I’ve got my eyes on Trump Tower.”
They had better be able too clearly identify the crime before they attempt to get records.

Too late. They got years of tax records on a subpoena to bait their fishing expedition.

If I was this this NYAG, I think I’d consider maybe keeping my pie hole closed more & opened less. She must think she’s pretty important.

It’s a politically motivated witch hunt and everyone knows it. Even the New York AG has admitted as much.
It’s really a disgrace that the Supreme Court has allowed this farce to proceed.
If you try to take down the Swamp, the Swamp will hunt you down for the rest of your life with made-up crimes.
Just look at how BLM/antifa is free to run amok, while the people arrested at the Jan 6th protest are still sitting in jail (and where a policeman died of a STROKE while the MSM claimed he was murdered by protestors, and a female protestor was executed by a black BLM-supporting cop who will never be charged with anything).
Gutless RINOs are to blame for all of this. RINOs had control of the state legislatures, yet they willfully refused to enforce voter ID or launch an investigation of the cheat-by-mail ballots before electors were seated; all because of their petty hatred of Trump. Vote out every RINO who must face a primary in 2022 and replace them with MAGA patriots. Do this every 2 years and we MIGHT stand a chance at winning the WH again in 2024.

After realizing the election was stolen, he never should have left office. I can’t think of one D who would have bowed out if the same was true for them.

This is the definition of prosecutorial harassment. Trump needs to consider a lawsuit or whatever means he might have to fight back.
I do remember James running on a “I’ll get Trump for something” campaign, and if her statements are anything like the way Trump characterized them, there may be grounds for dismissal. The whole thing sounds like an unconstitutional effort to demand personal information with no evidence of a crime or “probable cause.”
They did the same to Bill Cosby.
Will the State Supreme Court ever act and overturn his corrupt conviction ?
