Arizona Republican Chairwoman Dr. Kelli Ward has delivered a smackdown on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors meeting that took place this week.
The meeting was held on Monday and Ward produced a video on Monday night to excoriate the Board of Supervisors.
“Chairman Jack Sellers said he and the rest of them are going to ignore legislative inquiries and subpoenas. In other words, they will all be willingly and willfully in contempt of the Arizona Senate’s authority… Who gives these local officials the right to challenge the Constitutional authority of the Arizona Senate and the Arizona courts which have from the very beginning upheld the right of the Arizona Senate to proceed with this audit as it sees fit,” she said.

Hell. Those pukes are running away from that laptop just as fast as they can.
There MUST be legal consequences!
“4 out of 5 are republicans.”
GOPee Delenda Est!
I don’t know what they are waiting for. Even if it was Dominion that was responsible for the actual deletion, the county is ultimately responsible.
Ok lock em up then
Arrest them for what?
I know it sounds good but what matters is what Arizona law says about elections and the rights of country supervisors. The opinion of an attorney who is a member of the Arizona bar would answer a lot of questions.
As with everything, there has to be a law against whatever action is being done and that defines the penalty. I’m not a lawyer but after scanning over “Title 16 - Elections and Electors” of the Arizona Revised Statutes and under 16-184 it says that falsely swearing to an affadavit is a class 5 felony and an election officer who fails or refuses to perform any duty required of him under this chapter is guily of a class 2 misdemeanor. The only mention of Fraud is in regard to the Sec. of State establishing an election fraud reporting hotline.
So my bet is the Board is acting like it is because it knows the laws are weak that that it can do so without fear of much more than a strongly worded lette.
Hope someone will prove me wrong.
link didn’t work but I think this will:

There must be some statute in the Arizona code that a local ‘official’ is subservient to the state authorities.
Like here in Florida, several years back, the governor removed the entire Pensacola City Council for corruption.
Here in our own county, the sheriff was removed by the governor for embezzlement.
.............
They are acting this way because the system favors them. It’s that simple.
I don’t think he will do a thing as he was a Never-Trumper. He even got booed when Trump came to AZ last year.
According to ARS 41-1154, disobeying a legislative subpoena is a Class 2 misdemeanor.
“Class 2 misdemeanors are a category of misdemeanor crimes in Arizona that carry up to 4 months of jail time and $750 in fines, although the fines can increase with surcharges. There may be probation and other penalties, as well, including collateral consequences, community service, and paying restitution.”
In AZ for example, the state senate issued a subpoena for election material things but had to go before a state court to get enforcement of the subpoena to compel the County to deliver specific election materials. Failure of the County to comply puts them into a contempt of court situation that the state senate could reinforce by separately passing their own contempt of the senate finding.
My opinions and I ain't no lawyer.
“Who gives these local officials the right to challenge the Constitutional authority of the Arizona Senate and the Arizona courts which have”
They can do whatever TF they want if the governor chooses not to enforce the law.
Any and all outrage needs to be pointed at the governor of Arizona.
Doucey thinks he can remain neutral.
AZ voters need to inform him otherwise.
It is worthless. What happened to Eric Holder when he was slapped with contempt for the US Congress. Nothing.
So was McStain and the Flake.
The innocent do not commit acts of guilt and this is just the latest in a long string.
