Report: Biden Has a ‘Short Fuse’ — Goes on Profanity Laced Tirades at Aides

President Joe Biden reportedly has a very short fuse and a tendency to go on profanity-laced tirades at his staff, according to a report from the New York Times. You know things are bad when even the Times has to acknowledge it.

The newspaper spoke to over two dozen current and former Biden staffers, who painted a portrait of a “president with a short fuse, who is obsessed with getting the details right – sometimes to a fault.”

The Times reports that “Avoiding Mr. Biden’s ire during one of his decision-making seminars means not only going beyond the vague talking points that he will reject, but also steering clear of responses laced with acronyms or too much policy minutiae, which will prompt an outburst of frustration, often laced with profanity.”

“Mr. Biden is gripped by a sense of urgency that leaves him prone to flares of impatience, according to numerous people who regularly interact with him,” the report continues. “The president has said he expects to run for a second term, but aides say he understands the effect on his ability to advance his agenda if Republicans regain power in Congress next year.”

They added, in no uncertain terms, that “he will often snap.”

The report says that Biden “takes days or weeks to make up his mind as he examines and second-guesses himself and others” and that it is a “method of governing that can feel at odds with the urgency of a country still reeling from a pandemic and an economy struggling to recover. “

I believe he does. The spin, though, is that it’s because he’d detail-oriented and demanding and in control. More likely it’s because he is confused about everything and can’t process what people say to him.

He’s an asshole and always has been.

The accomplishments of Joe’s 47 years in politics, distilled to a single sentence.

As if Biden even knows the details. The NYT is trying to put lipstick on a pig.

this is fake news to deflect blame. These disasters are all due to his policies (those in actual control). Their governing philospophy is a mix of radical marxist doctrine and pure incompetence. Unless they govern like Trump, they will fail on all these issues.

It probably wears on them having to pretend he’s the boss and putting up with his rants.

“I’m Napoleon, dad-gum it!!”

“Of course you are, Your Excellency.”

Not a big deal. Now if he tweeted something bad. That would be a whole different thing.

Well as Mark Twain said about politicians and diapers: “Politicians are a lot like diapers. They should be changed frequently, and for the same reasons.”.

Jao Bai-Din's handlers can't afford his "N word" rants to go public.

Jao Bai-Din is an affirmed racist but a racist with dementia makes it impossible for the Democrats to pretend they're not the Ku Klux Klan Party.

Actually, it’s a classic symptom.

Biden has always been an angry bully. He’s threatened and degraded ‘little’ people his whole career, has been a vicious racist liar his whole career, and used intimidation against his enemies his whole career. Plus his crack head corrupt son exposed his corruption bigly. That had to make him angry. Not the corruption part, the getting caught part.

Best abstract yet of his political career.

DesertRhino's, "He is an asshole and always has been." takes the Gold in the Succinctness category.

You have to wonder how far this goes. There does not seem to be any damage-based limitation, indeed damage is quite conceivably the goal. And at some point, Harris will be our president. Punishment, retribution, and the wholesale and thoughtless cancellation of anything that Trump achieved seem to be the overarching themes. I wonder what thoughtless cancellation policies will come next.

Absolutely correct. They are our superiors and get irritated when the face opposition. My brother-in-law is a political science PhD and believes every word printed in the NY Times and gets FURIOUS if you disagree with him or the NY Times.
