No, virus is real, just politicized and weaponized for very evil intentions.
I use a heat mat and a weak solution of Texas Tomato Food for best germination results...
Agreed!
I didn’t vote until I was in my mid 40s but before I voted, I decided I should learn a bit about how government works or is supposed to work. Ignorance was bliss. Then we went through the 8 years of obama and during that time, I became a bit of a prepper.
Third world countries like Venezuela have food shortages all the time and the US is fast becoming a third world country. We just had a third world election. Cheating was done by the political party that is fast headed towards socialism/communism.
Yeah, I’ll just keep on prepping.
Good thinking. I save all the styro or plastic containers with lids. Cut out the middle of the lid. Put my potting mix in the container with the seeds cover with plastic wrap and put the cutout lid on it so that the clear plastic wrap is over most of the container.
Then I put it in front of my south facing patio doors on shelves. The potting mix has some nutrition. If needed, I can prick the plastic wrap with a pin to vent.
There were no plastic bags during the Great Depression.
.
True that !
But there are many who don't do the research, aren't aware,
and then there are those who are personally and intentionally ignorant.
You can cure ignorance with facts and knowledge.
There were no plastic bags during the Great Depression.

Didn’t mean to imply there were - Just an example of what we throw out today that would have been saved back then.
People don’t hunt here. Suburban people who unlike myself wouldn’t know how to scale a fish let alone butcher a deer.
I saw a pipeline map that shows that pipeline running straight to Detroit. She promised to shut that thing down in her campaign; now she's making good on it. If she succeeds, I look forward to her Michigander supporters waiting in long gas lines, and maybe food lines as well, suffering as so many people are in the South and along the East Coast today.
Yeah, I'm not in a good mood today. As usual.
Yep.
Do appreciate your helpful and insightful info.
I don’t care for some of the people who act like there is some disaster, apocalypse, second coming, or economic collapse looming, especially if they are strident or certain.
I read everything I can on prepping, but I regard anything outside of fire, flood or earthquake as being nuts to even consider, for me personally.
You make a lot of assumptions there, brother.
There's than one way to skin a cat.
I don’t recall traffic being stopped in the Delaware River when the PA Turnpike bridge was temporarily shut down due to a crack in a steel member. So would somebody please just secure the damned bridge and open the river back up???
I've been thinking about that lately. It certainly explains why only one man confronted the idiots in Plano the other day. I believe you are correct.
The good times make the weak men, and now the weak men are leading to the hard times. We are also likely in the apathy/dependency part of that well-known cycle, heading into bondage.
Amen.
“Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also,” (Matthew 6:21; see also 24:22).
Jesus was not talking about prepping when he said this -
Matthew 7:26-27
“Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”
The Proverbs you cited mention taking “refuge.” Might I suggest...
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1
I had to wash baggies and foil as a kid. Hated it. Haven’t done it since but will do so when needed.
So many during the TX freeze never bothered to make a grocery run ahead of time or didn’t know what to do with what they had at home. Mind boggling. One 3 generation family was on the news whining about the 3 month old who was bored and they had no way of heating the formula as they sat in front of their fireplace. Others were up in arms the food in their fridges was ruined without power because they didn’t have sense to put it outside.
It took up to 2 weeks to restock grocery shelves just in TX so imagine if it were nation wide.
Most aren’t Rambos.
Just like Covid 19 phase 2. Keystone is shut down. Now this pipeline shut down. Perhaps another. Each situation in itself is not harmful. But, if we continue to have set backs, it’ accumulates. This past week will have a ripple effect. You can be contrary and disagree. It doesn’t effect my world one way or another. But, it sounds like you are on the wrong thread if it means nothing to you. Perhaps leave it for those of us who are concerned. Unless you’re trolling. If so, have some respect for this page and Plz use Fb & twitter for that.
I’m being too cryptic. All of these things are awful. It’s just that I expect the Dems to never give up. They will never change and start liking this country or give up their desire for power. They will ‘play’ very rough. I have faith in the good forces, the followers of whom are very wimpy and easily discouraged. They get angry when this fact is brought up.
