some economists believe we could see more than 2 million jobs added

Some theologians believe we're already in the afterlife.

God bless Wisconsin. Some here in California were drawing $1200 A WEEK!

Then there were a few who filled out fake claims, and got $1200 a week many times over. When they were caught, instead of going to jail they were recruited to help with the Get Out The Vote drive.

Everybody has their reasons and their breaking point. This fellow who is aiming to receive all the benefits the government has to offer may be a “John Galt.”

Naturally, some will view that as akin to stealing silverware or the anchor from a sinking Titanic - selfish and pointless, dooming the short-sighted thief who should be working to patch the vessel.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

And Biden says, this proves the government needs to spend more money!
When in realty the job number is bad BECAUSE government spending is paying people to stay home and not work!!!!

As long as shutdowns and gubermint handouts are still in play, the jobs situation is not going to improve.. Rehiring people that were laid off in the first place isn’t job creation anyway.

Never forget that these Communists deliberately destroyed the most robust economy we had seen in over 50 years because they hated Trump.

As long as people can make more on the dole than by actually working, you won’t see much improvement in job numbers. Not sure if it is the same but before I got a job where I can’t collect unemployment you had to take a paper with 3 names of businesses you went to looking for jobs.

Only a fool would work for less money than he can make sitting at home watching TV. This additional unemployment benefit is keeping our economy from moving forward. Everyone is consuming, but nobody is working.

Before this news was released today, CNN had this story on their site:

The US eyes possible 'Roaring '20s' recovery

It's still up, but they buried it deep into their site.

They get more $$$ sitting on the couch as the government direct deposits their unemployment and covid checks.

Demonstrates that Biden can screw up a sure thing.

Basic recovery of the economy from Covid should provide at least some economic growth, as things re-open that were closed. Biden’s economic policies are so bad that he’s destroyed this essentially automatic part of the recovery.

We are in for some bad times before this is all over.

Not defending his choice, but I understand it. He only works manual labor jobs, though painting and flooring and finishing houses is good money here in WI. They pay even more, plus bonuses these days as decent labor is in short supply.

That said, I plan on taking my SS at 62. Going to draw it under my ex-husband; he owes me a lot of money. ;)

LOL. I'm a few years ahead of you. Waiting out the 66.5 mark, not far away, not far at all. Twenty years ago I figured the system would have collapsed by now. Fiat money to the rescue!
