in the old days, last year, this would have been considered treason.

all of the spy movies of my generation were about someone stealing defense secrets and selling them to China, Russia, et al.

So now they get a very miniscule fine of $13M? Why are the Executives not i jail? Shy has Honeywell not been excluded from all future military/government contracts?

I suppose since Clinton did it routinely so the rest of the communists are okay with it.

Yep, this is like a Blockbuster “late fee” for a millionaire. This is not accountability. It’s not even a slap on the wrist. Everyone involved should be arrested, tried, and face the most severe punishment allowed under the law.

Well, based on the description they provided drawings that showed the dimensions of cases used inside the platforms. Technically by the law that is considered ‘technical data’ but if we can believe the article (not a safe assumption) then it’s not really something that by itself would let them do much of anything except build an empty box. So perhaps the severity of the release figures into the amount of the fine.

People should be thrown into prison for this.

Yet the Biden admin response is as expected — “how can we use this opportunity to enact more tribute”?

John Kerry gave Iran details of Israeli military maneuvers, no punishment.

$13 million is a drop in the bucket. Waste of time.

Honeywell is actually Allied Signal.

The CEO of Allied Signal was tired of going to dinner parties in the Hamptons and nobody knew what an Allied Signal was, so he bought Honeywell and changed the name to Honeywell.

They actually bought a company with good name recognition, for the name recognition.

True Story.

That is the type of people we are dealing with, here.

According to Open Secrets, Honeywell spent $4.68 million in political contributions in 2020 and $4.7 million in lobbying. 28 out of 37 Honeywell International lobbyists in 2020 have previously held government jobs.

Honeywell has paid for protection and the cost is relatively inexpensive.

As an aside, the article states the information sharing occurred in 2018. Donald Trump was POTUS then and responsible for national security.

$$$$ speaks louder then the security of their own children and grandchildren and Americans. I keep saying and I know people get angry at me for saying it but it’s the gospel truth America is done. Look around and see how our own Judas government and corporations that deal with very sensitive material have sold us out for 30 pieces of silver.... and yet in their warped freaking head American patriots are the enemy. The Hunter Biden’s of this country are hammering a nail in Americus coffin day by day! 😢

We may be finished as a military power.

Looks like CCP may be the “end-of-history” organization. They are brilliant enough to find out that it is not necessary to fight the enemy, but conquer them through treasonous bribery.

When the United States falls, it will result in Reagan’s predicted one thousand years of darkness, if not a permanent order.

I think the article is probably accurate, and people are hyperventilating over not much. The main violation was being sloppy. This was no William Bell thing.(He gave the F-15 radar to the Russians)

I worked for a defense contractor.
A drawing of a piece of steel plate with a hole drilled at each corner is considered secret.

Tell me what was sent, then I will make up my own mind.
