Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have described themselves as devout Catholics, a description enthusiastically repeated by his press secretary and the media.
But now Pelosi's hometown bishop is taking a not-so-subtle jab at her and Biden's abortion advocacy, arguing that self-identified Catholics should refrain from publicly promoting the practice or face potential exclusion from Holy Communion.
"If you find that you are unwilling or unable to abandon your advocacy for abortion, you should not come forward to receive Holy Communion," said Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone in a pastoral letter.

Better late than never. It’s very very late. Years overdue. These commies have trashed the church far too long - without any correction

My understanding is that the Archbishop has the authority to excommunicate Nancy Pelosi. That would be an actual action, not just a strongly-worded letter.
Wonder what would happen to donations in the Archbishop's area if he actually took action?

Wonder what would happen to donations in the Archbishop's area if he actually took action? Donations would probably increase ... but not from the parishioners of that diocese. The donations would come from other parts of the country in support of the bishop. I know I'd donate.

Priests need to refuse Communion to Nancy Pelosi.
For Jao Bai-Din, priests must continue giving him Communion as they would any other mentally retarded individual.

Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like religion has vanished from life this year. I fear that civilization as I knew it has changed forever, and for the worse.

This is also an issue politically outside the Roman Catholic Church, because the Dems are trying to use communion as political theater.
A few of the lesser Fascist dictators of the 20th century (not Hitler or Mussolini) did the same.

This dross, if posted in the bloggers forum, does not have to be excerpted. Why do you excerpt?
