A surveillance video shows a black man repeatedly punching an Asian man pushing a stroller in an unprovoked attack in San Francisco.
The violent attacker, 26-year-old Sidney Hammond, was arrested by San Fran PD.

Makes you begin to wonder if all black people are inherently violent? More correctly, what is going on today that is encouraging and licensing this type of behavior? How do we fix this?
The, “news” is encouraging this; by constantly yapping about how bad black people are treated in this country, its constant, non stop.
That’s awful. That white supremacist isn’t content to beat an Asian man. He has to do it in blackface.
You are falling into the trap of believing that what is happening is unusual.
We have the perfect storm of:
1.) More security cameras
and
2.) “#StopAsianHate” movement permitting media to shine a bright light on Asians getting attacked for the purpose of trying to prevent people from blaming China for Covid.
Black people have been randomly attacking people (including asians) for decades. This isn’t new.
White Supremacists made him do it of course.
“Makes you begin to wonder if all black people are inherently violent?”
If you’re stupid it might.
Whenever I hear about a brawl on an airplane or in a Walmart, I know without looking that sadly, it will involve black people.
What a difference between those situations and the family who got kicked off a Spirit Airlines because their two year old wasn’t wearing a mask. The family also had a developmentally disabled child. They went quietly as far as I know.
But they should sue.
Nature or Nuture? I’m sure there’s a anthropologist willing to do an objective study
Dang Asian bloggers excerpting they trash all over!
I blame racist cops.
With all due respect, ifinnegan, I think that Reno posed a thoughtful question.
Not all blacks are violent but there seems to be a lot of violent incidents occurring in their neighborhoods.
It is a problem, caused by, IMO, the “Great Society” and the removal of all incentives for young black men to get married and raise their children in an intact family.
So adolescent males, needing a father figure, turn to gangs and guns.
Asians own a lot of stores in black neighborhoods. Blacks hate this but they are many times too lazy to make the effort to own the store.
The only thing keeping blacks from owning stores is other blacks. Ultimate crabs in a bucket....one tries to climb out, others pull them back.
A few years ago I spent awhile entertaining myself watching “scare prank”. They featured people popping out of garbage bins, around corners, perhaps a dummy figure that was a real person, that kind of thing. Anyway, after a while I noticed that whites tended to run away from the encounters and blacks were much more likely to strike back at the threat, almost (maybe) instinctively.
About 40 years ago, a Black adolescent male pushed my brother from behind into oncoming traffic at a San Francisco street corner.
My brother had cuts and bruises, but miraculously avoided being run over and killed.
“Not all blacks are violent ...”
I guess you didn’t read the post.
Do a Google search on “(antiquated term for a race) criminality plus 1950, 1930, 1913, 1890) to bring up very old historic records and you will have your answer.
Cameras are racist. They automatically add color to make it look like a black man is there, no matter how white the real attacker is. And they automatically edit out the MAGA hat the attacker is wearing.
Racist cameras are ALL over the USA.
Two Asian women stabbed during random street attack in San Francisco today. No description of the assailant.
Part of the story in today’s San Francisco Chronicle
“Anti-Asian incidents increased in 2020 as politicians, including then-president Donald Trump, used terms such as “Kung Flu” and “Chinese virus” to refer to the coronavirus pandemic. Many aggressors who have targeted Asian individuals in the United States have used slurs and derogatory language, sometimes connected to the pandemic.”
Amen.
