A bizarre photo of the Bidens and the Carters hit the internet yesterday and it has literally sparked a massive amount of buzz, outrage, and conspiracy theories. When I saw it, I was totally perplexed.
Jill and Joe look like 14-foot giants. I thought surely the photo was fake. There’s no way the scale of the people in the photo could be this off, regardless of how “tiny” Jimmy and Rosylm Carter are in real life. It was just too off.
So, I thought I was looking at a funny “meme.”Boy, was I wrong…The official “Jimmy Carter” Twitter account actually tweeted out the photo, confirming that the Bidens did meet up with the Carters during their visit to Georgia.

The Carters look TEENY and the Bidens look HUGE!!! It looks FAKE!
Even the chairs wouldn’t be large enough to have the Biden’s sit down?

Camera perspective? They were plugged in. Cut and pasted. By an eighth grader.
Well, some (most?) people shrink as they age. I used to be 5’11”. Now I’m 5’8” and I sure as heck don’t like it.
But if you were standing next to the Bidens, you’d look 4’ 4” and 75 pounds.
It’s completely real.
Jimmy is 5’ 9” and Joe is under 6”.
Does their furniture typically shrink with them? Neither of the Bidets could sit in those Fisher-Price chairs.
The photo is the effect forced perspective, due to a very close camera shot. That or Carter has size 22 boats.
That said, it’s a vary weird composition with the Biden’s kneeling on the floor. Why not just have everyone sit in chairs in a semi-circle?
Just rub some adrenochrome on that eye and he’ll back back to clubbing bunnies in no time.

What a weird photo. I didn’t even notice the shoes until you mentioned it. The shoes make it twice as weird.
If the folks in the photo were Republicans the late-night comics would be laughing about this for a month.
However, there needs to be some distance between the "giant" person and the "tiny" person. Dr. Jill is right next to Carter, even a little bit behind him...
So, I don't think it's a wide-angle lens (or the wide-angle setting of an iPhone). I think the photo is yet another poorly-photoshopped Biden admin photo fake.
I'll bet they photoshopped it because the Carters didn't want the Bidens so close without masks, so they took two photos and carelessly stuck them together.
