Democratic officials within the U.S. House and the Senate are reportedly preparing legislation to pack the Supreme Court with four new justices.

During a hearing on Wednesday, Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan confronted House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler on his reported plans to pack the Supreme Court.

Nadler pounded the gavel and refused to answer Jordan’s questions.

Why anyone would vote for such a short, pudgy little man is beyond me. He is the epitome of beta male.

Just as important, the bill under consideration during this session was about reparations. That Congress is considering reparations is insane yet there it is.

A HARBINGER OF THINGS TO COME? A Republican handily defeated
a Democrat in a special election Tuesday in Merrimack, NH,
a town (cough) Biden carried by six points in the 2020 presidential race.

In the state’s first special election since the 2020 cycle, Town Councilor Bill Boyd beat out former state Rep. Wendy
Thomas by a resounding eight percent, strengthening Republicans’ majority in the 400-seat House, 213–186.

Of course Nadler did that because he is a _______ (fill in your derogatory term of choice). Yet I only wish, a Republican, any Republican, had the spine to wield power as do the Democrats.

I said last year that Donald Trump should have made a declaration to pack the court so as to get the Left/Media/Democrats on record opposing it.

He is the epitome of beta male.

I think in the case of Nadler, it's an omega male. Most Republicans are betas, Jordan is an exception.

Reparations for “racism” not just slavery. I have asked if Irish and Jews will be able to claim for some of those reparations. Plenty of groups have been discriminated against. This is no defense of such discrimination, but if the gravy is going to flow, what are the rules?

Biden voted for the Brady bill and has shown constant contempt for Amendments II and IV of our Constitution.

Biden has been and is in rebellion to our Constitution.

The Supreme Court needs to be asked to remove the rebel as Amendment XIV, Section 3 requires.

How there are that many Dems in that state is amazing. I guess they’re all from the college towns.

But it’d be nice if they used that majority to tighten up some of the states voter registration rules, etc to prevent folks from out of state voting there.

And to place the leading constitutionally eligible Presidential candidate of the 2020 presidential election into office, since Biden the rebel was ineligible.

Why is anyone surprised by this?

It came out during Biden’s campaign when he and others who support him refused to answer direct questions about whether or not they were going to pack SCOTUS - which means they had plans to do such.

Also up: Statehood for DC and Puerto Rico.

Can adding Mexico as a state be far behind?

I wonder if this election is a bone they’re throwing to us? To “prove” that there is no election fraud anywhere.

See! There wasn’t any election fraud, you people are too wrapped up in conspiracy theories that the 2020 election was stolen, when it was a clean and fair election (Biden’s words).

They’ll use this recent election as an example that all elections are clean - see? A Republican won.

For the bigger elections, senate, house, etc., it’ll be back to Fraud-as-usual.

Mmmmmm....I think not.....they’ll take everything they can get.

The grabby Dems were even ready to go after a Repub seat won by six votes, until their internal polls told them it was a big mistake.

“Yet I only wish, a Republican, any Republican, had the spine to wield power as do the Democrats.”

While 2020 was certainly a pivotal moment in the decline of the Republic, I suggest October 29, 2015 may have been the tipping point and minimally was a huge missed opportunity and failure of leadership. That is when Paul Ryan replaced John Boehner as Speaker of the House. While the conservative Freedom Caucus Republicans had made life so uncomfortable for establishment Speaker Boehner that he resigned, they didn’t have the vote to put a conservative leader in the position. The establishment wanted Kevin McCarthy the conservatives did not. Ryan was drafted as the compromise choice.

Ryan ended up being as establishment as McCarthy and spent first term of Donald Trump’s presidency undermining Trump instead of teaming with Trump and Mitch McConnell to push a conservative agenda through Congress. Even worse, during the 2018 mid-term election, he encouraged incumbent GOP Congressmen to retire and was absent from the campaign. He essentially worked to make it easier for the Democrats to take control of the House, which they did.

Imagine if the GOP had installed a conservative with the backbone to stand up to Pelosi and the political skills to push legislation through Congress. Unfortunately the victors write the history and it appears the history of this time will be written by far left professors who will proclaim Pelosi a great politician and speaker while casting Ryan as an evil Republican conservative. They will not tell the story of his treachery which helped enable the coming to power of the leftist coup during the 2018-2020 period.
