DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS Intend To Unveil a Bill to Expand The Number of Supreme Court Justices on Thursday, according to three legislative sources familiar with the bill.
The bill would increase the number of justices on the Supreme Court from nine to thirteen.
Republicans currently hold 6 seats, while Democrats hold just 3 after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and the confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett.
The bill is sponsored by House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler, Subcommittee chair Hank Johnson, and freshman Rep. Mondaire Jones.
In the Senate, the bill is being championed by Ed Markey of Massachusetts.

He also categorically opposed court packing. He’s not the only Democrat on record against it.

Thanks, there’s a thought, I guess, that if we let them make things so horrible, we’ll simply fix it all in the next couple of elections (fix Congress, then fix the White House)...and all will be better.
Problem is, these people have NO INTENTION of ever letting conservatives achieve power again, and with the judges, Congress, and the White House, there is literally NOTHING we can do to stop them (and no...guns in the hands of people who cannot even communicate with each other without permission of their enemies, are next to useless). And, regardless, once they have the judges, they’ll nullify the Second Amendment and 99% of the yahoos here will buckle and turn in their guns (given the alternative, spelled out on my home page), and the 99.99% of the others will also comply. It will end with a wimper and millions of melted-down guns.
Either we stop them BEFORE they get the power they crave, or we PERMANENTLY lose.
