Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan said Tuesday that the city is working on new methods to protect freedom of speech while holding protesters accountable for acts of vandalism committed during demonstrations.
Her comments come hours after storefront windows were shattered and graffiti splashed on walls during a Monday night march to protest the shooting of Daunte Wright by a police officer near Minneapolis.
“We will support those people who protest peacefully but the people who come just bent on destruction and committing crime, we won’t condone that at all” Durkan said.
Most of the mainstream media reported that no arrests were made and that there were no violent confrontations between marchers and police that resulted in injuries.
This isn’t true because there were multiple arrested made and there were some clashes between Seattle PD and the violent BLM rioters.
About 100 people dressed all in black had gathered at Pioneer Square’s Occidental Park before they later marched through city streets in the area.
Officers from the Seattle Police Department employed a new tactic as they followed the marchers: They used a long-range acoustic device, known as an LRAD. A police officer repeatedly asked marchers to be peaceful and repeatedly warned about potential arrests if there was any violence.
One BLM rioter decided to use this new tactic and make fun of the police, she gave police officers an energetic dance show as the video below shows she twerks in front of Seattle PD officers.

She received instant karma as the police decide to arrest her and other fellow rioters:
The police say several businesses were vandalized in downtown Seattle during the marches last night in protest of the police shooting of Daunte Wright in Minnesota, while in Portland, police declared a riot.
Wright, 20, was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center, a city of about 30,000 people on the northwest border of Minneapolis.
All ppl who twerk should be arrested
Looked like a dumb leftist white woman.
National Geographic. That’s where I’ve seen this before.
A pepper ball “applied” to a particular tender spot might have been good.
I bet her mommy and daddy are real proud
Why even bother arresting them? Let the cities burn, what is reborn out of the ashes has to be better. Seriously, let them all burn. Not my problem.
Then we would have to arrest Miley Cyrus. Does she still shove her butt into men’s crotches? I haven’t kept up with her career.
Is dropping a moon twerking, and if it is do the statute of limitations extend back to the 1960s?
WTF?? Is this a just a fancy name for a megaphone ?????
I get my twerks, tweets, twits all mixed up....
That’s the worst twerk I’ve ever seen.
Agreed. If you can sexy dance in front of them to mock them, you’re not afraid of them.
And it has happened before.
Out of Portland tear gas, an apparition emerges, capturing the imagination of protesters
An unidentified woman, wearing only a face mask and a cap, sits in a Portland, Ore., street early Saturday morning, facing law enforcement officers who held back protesters.

Here’s an idea, Jenny:
How about you actually put the likes of Wright and Floyd in jail? Hard to get shot by police for resisting arrest if you’re serving jail time for the crimes you committed.
And one more:
Try discerning the difference between protesting, rioting and looting.

Is smiley Virus still alive?
Hmph.. who cares anyway... ;^)
RE: Is this just a fancy name for a megaphone?
Dunno.
But I heard the defunding police department strategies include having officers yell through pairs of empty soup cans across a long waxed string. Worked from a kid's treehouse in the 1950s.
