During this episode, the cast spoofed a Minneapolis morning news show to discuss the trial over George Floyd’s death in custody.
“Sounds like we all agree there’s no way Derek Chauvin walks away from this,” Kate McKinnon said.
Two black cast members, Keenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim, immediately began to express doubt.
McKinnon goes on to discuss how the defense has been arguing that Floyd’s cause of death was actually the fatal amount of drugs in his system.
“And there’s no way the jury is gonna fall for that,” McKinnon says.
The black actors continue to express doubt that a white officer will be convicted.
Midway through the skit, a white cast member playing an anchor disavows violence and property damage.
“I think we can all agree that no matter how bad things are, destroying property is never the answer,” he says.
The two black actors respond with “I wouldn’t say that,” before adding “there’s insurance” and it’s “just property.”
“I just think protests should be non-violent,” the anchor responds, drawing ire from the black cast members who begin downplaying his opinion for being white.

Insurance? Sure, some have insurance. But would anyone rebuild their house or business in the same place? I would take my money and make tracks. Thus, the neighborhood, ultimately the entire city dies. Wonderful! Ta ta New York!

Can’t agree. It was pushing a false narrative and they mean it. For something to be funny, it has to have some truth to it. Too many blacks believe these things, and too many liberals accept rioting and looting as acceptable forms of protest.
No thanks. Throwing a bunch of commie wannabe comedians from SNL into the stress bucket is unnecessary.
Pretty sure no one here expects anything else from SNL. That’s why I stopped watching them years ago.

This is Comcast. Comcast boasted about “donating” $150 million to BLM.
Comcast ranks among the top telecom companies. It’s an international operation. Kinda like ATT which is CNN. ATT also “donated” (per reports) a similar sum of money to BLM.
These malicious operations are heavily invested in the decomposition of the United States.
