According to reports, numerous current and past staffers of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo have claimed that, contrary to his officeâs claims, their work on his for-profit book detailing his COVID-19 response was not voluntary.
âUnder New York law, Cuomo and other state employees are prohibited from using government resources for personal gain,â Fox News detailed, reporting that Richard Azzopardi, a spokesman for the already scandal-embroiled New York governor, said last week that âAs is permissible and consistent with ethical requirements, people who volunteered on this project did so on their own time.â

When the story broke that one of his aides was meeting with publishing companies to help get his book deal negotiated, I asked flat out, unless this aide was a private employee of Cuomo’s how is this not illegal???
Of course took the media another few weeks to ask the first question that should have came to mind
It is becoming clear that Cuomo’s party is done with him; NY Republicans are impotent observers politically, so it is clear this is all coming from his own side.
If he had presidential aspirations, he should face reality; they’ll just come up with one scandal or another (real or fabricated) to get rid of him. This is the third (nursing home deaths, sexual harassment - now including touching, and this).

The man is widely acknowledged to be a pompous and arrogant jerk to others.
I dunno. Seems like the people who rule this country made a run at Cuomo and then stopped. Must have made a deal.

Cuomo allowed COVID positive staff to continue to report to work in their residential care facilities until mid-May of last year.
But nobody’s having a cow about that.
Cuomo will be there until Deep State sees fit to remove him.

Yes; I assume most of the allegations against him are true but a few are probably lies to smear him (from Dems).
They may take him down on this one as killing thousands of people is no big deal, but make a personal profit at taxpayer expense, and then not sharing some of it with his buddies something altogether different.
Anything to distract from mass murder.
Guess grown up bimbos crying about Cuomo coming on to them isn't enough... (yes, the women attacking Cuomo were NOT 13 year old powerless virgins - they were adult college graduates with real jobs and all the laws in the country behind them...) And now this?
