Question to everyone that has gotten the vaccine. Which one did you get and did you have a reaction.

We are thinking of getting the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. I am so nervous about it. I feel like I am in a game of Russian roulette, playing the odds. What are your thoughts about it?

Unless compelled, do not submit. Even then, resist.

Just my personal opinion.

I don’t plan on getting any vaccine. However, I recognize it it a personal
choice for each American.

I’d have to be dead 3 days before I’d allow them to roll up my sleeve.

I’m curious what goes through the minds of people who are scampering to get the vaccine. Is it fear? A sense of duty? I mean this sincerely.

I see people on social media posting pictures getting their shots, but why? I’ve never seen someone proudly declaring “I got my flu shot today” or “I got my mammogram today.” What’s the difference? Flu shots, mammograms, even run of the mill vaccinations such as those for tetanus or MMR are FDA-approved, longitudinally studied and known safe. There are no COVID vaccines on the market that are approved by the FDA or known to be safe to a marginally insignificant rate, so why even take the chance?

The fact remains: even for those over the age of 65, this variant of COVID is greater than 99% survivable. I just don’t understand the urgency to get vaccinated, esp. knowing the vaccines on the market are not FDA approved or tested across a broad spectrum of the population. You are literally volunteering to test a vaccine. Why?

I got the J&J vaccine and had absolutely NO reaction. Not even a sore arm.

Got it in early March.

IMHO the J&J is a more traditional type of vaccine and there are fewer long term concerns about after effects. Understand that the rna Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have not been actually shown to have any long term detrimental effects despite the concerns. Given the severity of COVID 19 clinical infection that can result in death or actual long term debility, suggest you receive whatever one of the three is available to you. The short term side effects if they occur at all in the vast majority of cases have been relatively mild and transitory. You really don’t want to contract this disease.

We’re in our sixties. Both got the Pfizer a week ago. Slight soreness at the injection site is all. I’m expecting a little more after the booster, but totally unconcerned.

My 91-year-old Mom has had both shots of the same with no concerns. She also had COVID a year ago with only minor symptoms FWIW while a third of the nursing home she resides in died from it.

My age and condition persuaded me. I've also been in contact with a family friend who is a longtime physician doing this sort of work at the FDA who herself has been vaccinated and strongly recommended it.

The main risk appeared to be blood clots and I am already on blood thinner so it seemed to make sense.

Had COVId. Once I realized it was likely COVID as I lost ability to smell, I immediately started the I-Mask regimen for Ivermectin. Bounced right back within two days. I am now naturally vaccinated so to hell with Joe Biden.

Well yesterday they had to shut the J%J vaccine site in Colorado down due to too many bad reactions. Some had to go to the hospital. Most people who get covid don’t have to go to the hospital. What can I say?
