Despite the establishment media’s insistence that a conviction is inevitable in former police officer Derek Chauvin’s trial, there are actually many compounding factors that make the case relatively complex.
One of those factors is that George Floyd, who died last May after a confrontation with Chauvin and other police in Minneapolis, apparently had large amounts of drugs in his system. New surveillance footage from the store where Floyd allegedly used a fake bill before the incident seems to confirm that fact.
On Wednesday, footage from inside the Cup Foods where the counterfeit bill incident occurred was shown for the first time during Chauvin’s trial. In the video, Floyd appeared to be acting erratically, shuffling around the store for roughly 10 minutes and bouncing up and down on his toes.
Christopher Martin, the now-former Cup Foods cashier who accepted the bill from Floyd, also testified at the trial on Wednesday. He said Floyd rambled when talking to him and that his actions made it “appear that he was high,” according to NPR.
Martin told the court he immediately suspected the bill to be fake.
“When I saw the bill, I noticed that it had a blue pigment to it, kind of how a $100 bill will have,” he said. “And I found that odd. So, I assumed that it was fake.”
After completing the transaction with Floyd’s bill anyway, Martin said he began to have second thoughts. He explained he originally planned to pay for the transaction himself, as was store policy for a cashier who accepted a fake bill. However, he changed his mind and decided to tell the manager about the incident.

If Chauvin is found not guilty, the racist Trump supporting white nationalists will go on a rampage and burn everything down..
Wait, it won’t be racist Trump supporting white nationalists doing that?
Of course not, but guess who will get the blame.
You won’t see anything on TV to disparage St. Floyd because they’re hoping for a riot when the truth is finally revealed.
The guy was totally messed up. But cops screwed up also. But not guilty of murder.
Here’s an idea.
Don’t spend all your real money getting high and then go to the store and try to buy stuff with Monopoly money.
While on release from prison for COVID. Or has COVID disappeared from the menu at this point? So hard to track anything on this case due to all the obfuscation by MSM to run interference for BLM.
The cops did not screw up. If anyone is to blame, Other than Floyd himself, it is the crowd.
Derek did everything he could, with the suspect that is resisting arrest, in front of a crowd that is getting restless.
In case no one noticed, all the cops on the scene had to be managing crowd control rather than helping Floyd.
Floyd killed himself when he took three times a fatal dose.
RE: Leftist Martyred Saint George Floyd, to whom Pelosi and Nadler and more bent their knees in pagan worship in the Capitol “may” have been high on drugs....
Les Paul and Mary Ford sang this top hit in 1953:
How High The Moon
How high the moon
Though the words may be wrong
We’re singing it because you ask for it
So we’re singing it just for you
How high the moon
Does it touch the stars
How how high the moon
Does it reach out to Mars
Though the words may be wrong to the song
We’re asking how high, high, high, high
High is the moon
Officer should have followed Never interfere with the enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.
The videos I saw, the crowd was yelling at the cops that Floyd couldn’t breathe, not threatening them. One of the cops said Floyd had no pulse. The cops had to keep an eye on the crowd, not control them.
Chauvin also had the obligation to monitor Floyd, and for three minutes after Floyd was unconscious, apneic, and incontinent, he didn’t...probably because his idea of crowd control means not looking weak, not yielding...and maybe he realized at some point what had happened and was afraid to deal with it in public.
Now there’s a stupid...
He wouldn’t get in the police car. He resisted.
Still, 8;46 is a long time.
I agree that Floyd was going to die. In fact what we were all watching on that video was a man dying. He was over dosing and his heart was going to stop. The only mistake they made was sitting in him for so long. If he was in such a panic then they could have gotten him a ambulance and cuffed him and rode with him. I think they waited to long in front of a restless crowd. They had him in the car and wonder why they let him out. Because he said he couldn’t breath. I wouldn’t have let him out.
Civil rights has corrupted into criminality.
