Chauvin’s attorney gets prosecution witnesses to admit it is not always possible to know if someone is unconscious during a “blood choke” and will fight again once revived. Also, another prosecution witness admits officers checked Floyd’s pulse several times.
You will not read or hear this in the mainstream media - even the putative conservative media. They all seem determined to condemn Derek Chauvin. But defense attorney Eric Nelson had an opportunity to question the prosecution’s witnesses. He discredited them.
First, he questioned Donald Williams II, the professional mixed martial artist (MMA), who was at the scene when Derek Chauvin was trying to restrain George Floyd. Nelson asked Williams about his martial arts training. Williams said he practiced various martial arts such as Muay Thai, Wrestling, and Jiu-Jitsu. He added that he went from wrestling in college to being a Mixed Martial Artist about ten years ago. Williams acknowledged that he learned submission chokes. He has used them in training sessions and in bouts. He also acknowledged that an MMA contest employs all of the various methods of fighting: striking, grappling, and includes choking and other submissions. The point is to “knock the person out, render him unconscious” stated Nelson and asked Williams if this is true. Williams confirmed this is true.
Nelson then mentioned Williams’ professional MMA record. It is interesting he did. Because this is a fact mentioned in this Houston Courant column on March 30. This column noted that two-thirds of Williams’ losses were by submission choke. So Williams has been on the receiving end of being rendered unconscious or surrendering several times as a pro after being choked.

No.
Get a job.
not clicking, the rest of the article shows that the defense dismantled every prosecution witnesses’ feelings with cold hard facts.
there will be an appeal when the judgement still goes against dauvin.
I think it’s all set up...he’s going to get off. It’s really not about guilt or innocence; yet just another means for total chaos. You wanna see SHTF?
Derek Chauvin’s acquittal will be another opportunity for the Traitorcrats’s Antifa and BLM to riot, burn, attack, and murder people in Minneapolis and other Demonicrat-controlled crapholes.
I can easily see a hung jury and mistrial, however.
The Community-Organizer-in-Chief has engineered every one of these clown shows, starting with Trayvon and Michael Brown.
After watching the video, I thought at first Chauvin had killed him by kneeling on his neck. As I follow the trial and get my news elsewhere I think Chauvin is being thrown to the wolves to keep the BLM crowd from the massive rioting that will take place when he is acquitted.
Zimmerman trial redux.
They know they don’t have a case but the misinformed public requires that they press on to court.
And when he walks, cities burn. The weather is perfect for it. It’s going to be an entertaining summer if you don’t live in a city, and I recommend a cattle catcher on the front of your car if you’re spending any time on the freeway in cities.
either way, there are riots in the future.
I’ve been on a couple of juries with a lot of technical info (both lasted four weeks). Some people are not rational. In both cases (civil) we were able to get ten people to agree, but there were two holdouts that had a simple hatred of the defendant that looked past any evidence that clearly showed they were innocent.
But yeah. In this case we’ll probably see a hung jury.
There will be no hung jury. He’ll be found guilty after 4 hours of deliberations.
Then it goes to the appeals court where it will be overturned.
Hmm, so if like most all previous DNC-commissioned riots these new ones happen in Democrat (now AKA domestic communists) controlled and run cities — I’m supposed to care? Basically, as a previous Pres said: “...elections have consequences.” Previous admin was under siege for 4 years, hamstrung from doing much that was needed. This one is not. So, if more of the core of such cities are burned to the ground, I frankly don’t give a hoot.
Now, if there are no riots does that not show that all of the ones during DJT’s tenure were orchestrated?
The prosecution’s case is weak. Chauvin did not commit second degree murder. He followed the department’s policies for subduing a suspect. Floyd was high on drugs, uncooperative, and a convicted felon. If Chauvin wanted to kill someone that day, he could have shot Floyd. As we have seen across the country, the bystanders taunt, videotape, and instigate situations like this. I would not give the left too much credit for making this trial a set up. They are blinded by their hatred. But there is no justification for second degree murder. Involuntary manslaughter perhaps. The ME’s report clearly states the presence of lethal levels of illegal drugs along with poor medical health and Covid. No broken trachea. No broken ribs. How is one police officer supposed to subdue a 6’4 240lb man psychotic on drugs? Talk nice to him?
When Chauvin is acquitted, it will be the excuse that the left is salivating for to riot even more and commit all out attacks on whites.
Exactly.
Derek Chauvin’s acquittal will be another opportunity for the Traitorcrats’s Antifa and BLM to riot, burn, attack, and murder people in Minneapolis and other Demonicrat-controlled crapholes.
Tears I will shed when that happens: 0
In a republic people get the government they deserve.
I recommend Ranch Hand products on dodge diesel truck. While I don’t live in a city, I live about 40 minutes from Tulsa. Tulsa should be interesting this summer. 100th anniversary of Tulsa race riot.
Thank you for posting. Very good information.
