People can immediately possess up to 3 ounces, and it's legal to smoke in public.
And they thought crime was before it was passed.
Looks like the cartels just bought another state.
They will have to turn Central Park into one big pot farm to supply that many people.

Too bad because a lot of jobs won’t be so lenient. I had to be clean of it to drive people for a job. I had to be as alert as possible, including not doing weed.
I kept myself clean of pot because I did driving a van for one of my jobs. I can only imagine a pilot flying a plane would need to be even more alert and clean of drugs than I was.
You accepted the responsibility of the job you had, and respected yourself enough to want to be able to keep it. I’ll be 74 in August, and will have outlived everyone else in my family. They were all cigarette smokers. Three of them died of lung cancer. I never smoked a day in my life. I think that’s one of the reasons I never got into pot, or any other drugs. I was a mother at 19, and ended up raising two sons alone. I had too many responsibilities, and very little money back then to even think of doing anything stupid. Now I’m too old :-)
Well when you’re behind the wheel of a vehicle being paid by some rich parents to drive their children to a private school as a part time job, you can’t afford to crash. Even if they don’t hold you fully accountable, you being affected by drugs would hurt your record as a driver. Even the military put out so little tolerance for marijuana, specifically the Navy and Air Force, because they found that by doing so, significantly less helicopter and plane crashes happened at airbases and carriers because pilots were more alert and coordinated. That’s the problem that so many people realize, even when legal, they can hurt your employment prospects. If there’s any substance I do use, it’s caffeine, because for all real purposes I need to be awake, alert, and responsive
