Trump, Simon Bar Kochba and two nations destroyed - Controversy
Biblical News Christians Jews ^ | 03/25/2021 | The Editor

When Trump rose to power as the leader of the right, I could not help but remember Simon bar Kochba who led the final revolt of the Jews against their globalist rulers: the Romans. Bar Kochba was a strong charismatic man; a natural leader who captured the heart and soul of the Jewish people. An alpha-male who as a leader gained somewhat of a superhuman aura about him. After a number of stunning victories against the Romans, Rabbi Akiva declared bar Kochba the Messiah (anointed one) and the Jewish people elevated him to that level.

At that point Christians outright rejected the Messiah status and refused to follow, but rabbis and others supported the claim believing bar Kochba would, ‘Make Judea Great Again’ by draining the swamp of traitorous Jews and freeing them from their globalist Roman conquerors. After all, Bar Kochba was a patriot; he loved his nation.

Along with Bar Kochba’s victories, he was able to amass a large group of followers which rebelled against Rome for almost six years, four of which, (a US presidential term) there was an independent Jewish state. However, In the end he was betrayed by insiders who conspired with the globalist Romans. Israel was totally conquered and ceased from being a home for the Jewish people for hundreds of years. The rest is history until 1948 when Israel was restored as a nation.

I supported Trump in 2020, and will continue to support Trump as long as his actions are worthy of support; which up to this point, to a large degree I deem most of his words and actions worthy of support. However, in 2016 when Trump became nominee, I perceived the end would be as it turned out to be in the aftermath of the January 6th protest at the capital. It was the disaster I anticipated. Nonetheless, in the beginning when Trump was elected I thought it may come about because of Trump. I don’t believe that now and don’t hold see how Trump was at all responsible.

The truth is, America was lost before Trump was elected and has been lost for a good while. Most people did not know it. What Trump did by winning the presidency was to make it evident when every devil out of Hell came up out of their pits to destroy him.

Still, there are many people of faith—who not only rejected Trump from the beginning and throughout his presidency—who now blame those who voted for him as being responsible for the current state of affairs, accusing them for supporting an ungodly man for president. They believe Christians (Evangelicals in particular) who voted for Trump as having sold out themselves by trusting an ungodly man for deliverance rather than voting in accordance with their conscience and trusting God.

I will not elevate Trump to a place where he is deemed our only hope or salvation, lest our end becomes like unto those who followed bar Kochba. Whatever Trump’s spiritual state before God, there is no doubt in my mind that God put him where he is and that God used him. God’s choice of individuals whom he chooses has always confounded man.

After a bit of studying Simon Bar Kochba and the revolt he lead against Rome (in my mind, the globalist of their age), I do not individually compare Trump to Simon bar Kochba. Even as a man with flaws (who has them not), by far, I respect Trump much more than bar Kochba. I must, however, wonder if some, but by no means all, of those who supported Trump were akin to the follower of bar Kochba who put their faith in a man for deliverance rather than in God. The comparison then is not as much the leaders, but the followers.

Men don’t actually “use” God.
But God does call and use imperfect men for His purposes.

If one were to believe a political neophyte like DJT could (on his own)defeat the Bush clan and then the Clinton machine with all the dark forces backing them ..

I suggest that person think again.

Good commentary.

As much as I hate to admit it, I do know many on the right who often times put more faith in great leaders than they do in God. Or at least it seems as though they do.

I was chastised, even by some on this forum for wondering early during the 2000 election why so many would trust a former drunk who’s father sold us out to Clinton. Yet many elevated him to a godly status, especially after 9/11. Which after wards I actually thought I was proved wrong on his character, but never elevated him. As time went on, I and many who agreed with me earlier were proven correct.

Like his father, he was good at using the military, but like his father he gave the Democrats almost everything they demanded, short of a tax increase. Now we see he is on full board in the destruction of the nation by backing Biden.

When we put our faith in a man, we will be disappointed. I also think Trump was and still is a great leader, I never elevated him to a status above the one he deserved, and I never saw Trump himself doing so. He always gave credit to God, even if He liked to brag a bit about God using him. I’ll give him that.

However, I know many who did elevate him.

Please inform me who else got more votes and drew bigger crowds, and has more supporters today?

"Like his [GW's] father, he was good at using the military..."

I hated what HW Bush did, or rather didn't do, when the college students rose up in 1989 in Tiananmen Square. They built a replica of the Statue of Liberty and peacefully demonstrated for their human rights. Not a word of support from HW the whole time. Eventually the Chinese came in with tanks and mowed them down. Still, from HW Bush, only silence. That my friend is pure evil.

You got that right, brother. I have always speculated that it isn't as dirty as we imagine. But rather it is dirtier than we are even capable of imagining.

When history writes of our day, it might say that God merely empowered the Donald to wake people up, not to make heaven on earth for them.

What is wrong with the statement? He did rise to become the leader of the right. He was not appointed, and the author never claimed that. He said he rose. Well, I have news for you, Trump did rise above all other would be leaders, and has assumed that title by defeating all the others who assumed they would claim that title.

He was not a moderate as many claimed, and he was most definitely not a liberal like many claimed.

Just as Reagan was the leader of the right for eight years, Trump was the leader of the right for four years as President and still is. I do not see any other individual who I, a long standing hard core member of the conservative Christian right, can look up to a tried and true leader.

I see many on the right I like, but none have the mantle as being the leader. Until he falters, he is the leader by the simple fact that he defeated every other man or woman who has challenged him. Plus, it was Trump who outed every imposter who claimed to be on the right. Something even Rush was not able to do, and in fact, was in awe of how he outed them for being, imposters.

As I said, we soon found out GW was an imposter.

When ever I think of GW, I am reminded of radio commercials that Pat Buchanan ran during the primaries.

“America needs a leader who will fight, and George Bush just won’t fight”.

Other than 9/11, like I said, George bent over backwards to give the left every thing they wanted.

Every time George did back down to the left, Buchanan’s voice and those words rang in my head.

I understand what you say, that he is a leader of the American people, but he is also the leader of the right, just as he is a Republican.

He can be both.

Obama was the leader of America, but he was and still is the leader of the left.

GW the President and leader of America, but was never the leader of the right. He pissed me off overytime he signed another program the left uses to destroy us with today.

I get the comparison. And some of my more secular friends who were Trump supporters may have done that-—but none of my Christian friends.

As for America being “gone,” don’t buy it. God created this country for a purpose, and it wasn’t to fail.

“Stopped reading right there.”

Don’t know how you feel about Trump, but that “leader of the right” was a mere descriptive, the author of the piece voted for Trump (don’t know if it was both times - guess one of us will have to read it (again) to find out).

But it is NOT an anti-Trump piece at all!

“Still, from HW Bush, only silence. That my friend is pure evil.”

Man, I did not realize this. It was totally on the news. Guess CNN wouldn’t cover Tiananmen II would they? But I never realized Bush said nothing about it.

I do remember being somewhere in NYC with a friend who was a pretty big lib. We saw a T-shirt in a window that was memorializing the victims on that uprising with a fallen over bicycle (which I think was based on some news photo that there had been). This guy was a big bike rider, so I pointed out the shirt to him.

To my absolute shock, he had ZERO sympathy with the protestors. He seemed to feel that they were foolish, and seemed to imply that they’d been egged on (by who? capitalists? I don’t know, this man was a business owner himself), and that to buy or wear a shirt like the one we were looking at would only encourage these misguided people and probably get them killed by the Chicoms!

I think that was my first “wow, just wow” moment.

A good piece, but the ending seems quite abrupt. I was looking for like 3 more paragraphs!

You sure?

Do me a favor.

Point out to me the prophetic Scriptures that mention the United States, geographically, politically, economically, societal, or in any fashion.

They do not exist.

NO, try as you may, America is just another great society that has risen during the quiet years of when the Gentiles rule.

Think about that for a moment.

The United States is the only nation in the history of the World that has given so much of it’s own men’s lives to save others the World over.

The United States has the greatest military power in the history of the World.

The United States is the wealthiest nation the World has ever seen. We can say Solomon was the wealthiest ruler, but the Israelites them selves did not possess the wealth the citizens of the United States has.

The United States is the most technologically advanced society the World has ever seen.

The United States is the only Nation in the History of the World that has graciously helped other nations to become wealthy beyond their dreams.

The United States has created more cures for more diseases than any other nation in the history of the World.

Now I believe the United States will not be what we are now, in the end. We will most likely be a puppet for what ever ruler runs the World. Yes, we will also be on the side of the Anti-Christ, when Israel is attacked.

OH, by the way, The United States, or what is left of is, will not be the country the Anti-Christ rules from. No, he will not be from China either. The geographical area of Western Europe is where the Anti-Christ will rule from.

Look into the Scriptures, twisty them however your heart so desires, but even then you will never ever find even a reference to the United States, geographically, militarily, economically, wealth wise, nor spiritual wise.

See, there is one reason, and one glaring reason you won’t, and it’s because of a certain category the United States also leads by a very large margin.

No nation in the history of the World has willingly murdered, not only their own children, but has helped the World murder their children. God has turned his back on us.

I hate to admit it, but the United States will not last much longer. Oh, it may out live me, and you, but I almost guarantee you that my grandchildren will see the United States be reduced to a puppet to the Anti-Christ. My grandson is already 18 by the way, but I do have a few that are but 3. So I see the hand of the clock already swinging to strike midnight.
