After rading this, I can say with certainty that Lamm would never be allowed to run as a Democrat today.
He was one of the last Democrats to be good on immigration, or at a minimum, to not be atrocious. That species survived into the first decade of this century, but has since gone extinct.
Old people have an obligation to die and get out of the way. Who said that. gotta admit it got quite a chuckle.
Hasn’t Egypt survived the ravages of time? It must be at least a three thousand year old country.
Today’s Egypt is not your Hyksos-Babylonian-Ptolemaic-Roman Egypt. It’s Arab Muslim, primarily... .................
Egypt is roughly the same land mass. Not at all the same country or culture.
He sounds like one of those guys who should leave the ‘rat party.
The Rat Party left him..................
Only a few decades have brought Democrats from “ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country” to reverse order thinking of “ask not what you can do for your country but ask what your country can do for you”
I wonder if he still holds the same view now, 15 years later than when he wrote this piece.
It’s even worse, it’s “Ask what can your country give you for free?”................
Probably.............
One more for Senator Lamm: I would tell conservatives that every Republican up for election (particularly if in Georgia) is a flaming RINO and that they should SIT OUT the elections to ‘teach the GOP a lesson’!!!
But that would never happen, well, maybe with the exception of last January.
Sounds like the democrap party left him faster than it did Reagan.
Conquer or disperse the Jewish people, yet they rise again.
A Democrat with a BRAIN!!! omg....this is from 2006.....he’s probably WOKE now or he has BLM and ANTIFA on his front lawn!
Well, the Egyptian civilization got conquered by the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Arabs, the French, the Turks, and the British. I may be forgetting some too. I wouldn’t exactly call that “surviving”.
I hope so. 8>)
