I've never heard of this lady but she asked this intriguing question and Twitter's almighty algorithm decided it should grace my timeline and so I couldn't help but read some of the replies.

The “woke” crowd hates anyone who seeks freedom, or control over themself. The “woke” crowd wants to be in charge so that they can tell everyone what the new rules are each day.

I'd like to think so. Some of this, though, is happening because the formerly untouchable Oppressed groups are getting their own oxen gored - transgenders in women's sports, for example. OTOH, some of it is happening because certain people didn't realize how free they really were until it was taken away. And finally, the left always oversteps. Always.

They go into the profession hoping to cure themselves.
Ironically, when you are in therapy, one on one with a good therapist, you will find you are being taught how to fish. Why these people remain part of the liberal tribe I think is the same reason attorneys do. It’s community.
