Is Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. doomed to become Mueller II? The answer appears to be a resounding YES. We already have a couple of big tells that the investigation into President Donald Trump's tax returns is going nowhere. One of the tells is that Vance, after receiving the desperately desired tax returns, announced that he would NOT be seeking re-election this year. The other big tell is an Associated Press report just out that the investigation is focused on what they think might be an inflated assessment of one of Trump's properties that was used to reduce his taxes by allowing a conservation easement for a land trust. Really? That's IT? Yeah, so just as in the Mueller investigation there appears to be no there there in the soon to be departed DA's case against Trump.

They have nothing, much of what I have read boils down to Trump claimed his properties were worth X amount on his taxes, but when he applied for loans he said they were worth more - anyone can claim what their property is worth at any given time, it would be up to the bank to determine the value before they make a loan.
Property appraisals are estimates, a property is only worth what someone will pay for it at any given time.
Trump knew there was no there, there. Fighting the release was a matter of principle, privacy, and like when we raise the treat higher just to see the doggie jump and yip.
The problem is that there is no recourse for citizens when the target of an unfounded witch hunt. But I do know this, Every Lawyer, especially a DA has a lot of Skeletons in their closet of very Bad Things they have done, I only hope and pray Donald Trump exploits them and takes these clowns down hard.

Trump & his taxes have been investigated repeatedly over decades. He has never been indicted, save for the 2 sham impeachments that went nowhere.
It is good to see the insane leftists wasting their time.
They won’t let this go without at least their ham sandwich to indict. Maybe they found an old jaywalking ticket or other like evidence of an impeachable offense.
They are all corrupt as hell so figure EVERYONE (Trump) must be JUST LIKE THEM.

Except as part of a conservation thing he turned the land over to a land management organization so the higher the value the more his taxes would be lowered. It's arcane, I know but that appears to be the best they got.
If it’s not illegal, which I’m sure it isn’t then no problem.
Plus the county/city accepted his valuation, they made the decision to accept it.
Vance already announced he is not running again, that’s because he will get nowhere with this
Trump and his employees associated with any number of politicians, bankers, union bosses, lawyers, real estate moguls, and judges for decades. My guess is that Trump knows about a huge number of skeletons.
