How Tucker Carlson Could Take Over the GOP and Run in 2024
National Interest ^ | 3/16/2021 | Rachel Bucchino

“Carlson has been keen to focus on the supposed failings and absurdities of Democratic elites, and that puts him in as good a position as any to inherit his supporters—those for whom Trump, as an individual candidate and office-holder, carried some extra appeal beyond the standard Republican brand,” Grant Reeher, a political science professor at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, said.

Carlson is a prominent, outspoken figure in the party, as he’s boasted anti-immigration, anti-free trade, populism, and America First economics that Trump supporters value. His show has been rated the most-watched cable news program in history and is also one of the most-watched shows in its time slot.

Tucker would never run for office. He has no interest in controlling anyone. He has FU money at around &40 million & knows it. He would more likely quit television & move to Maine than he would run for office.

He is all about his family, outdoors & especially fly fishing.

I’m done with Fox News, and all news programs, along with the GOP. I wouldn’t vote Republican again, even if Jesus was running.

>>>Tucker does not think there was any voter fraud. Believes that people that storm the capital were armed terrorist. Hard pass<<<

Uh, might be a good idea do a little more research before you Post absolutes like that.

He never said there was NO Fraud. He said he doesn’t know but the fact of the matter is that Joementia Xiden is the pResident.

He has also been the only TV Pundit saying there was NO Armed Insurrection and saying the only person Murdered there was Ashli Babbett, not the Police Officer the Left is trying to make into a Martyr.

You’re a mental case. You’re reading your prejudices into things I’ve not said. You’re on the wrong forum to act like pissy child. Grow up.

Tucker Carlson, for all of his talents, is not a seasoned businessman accustomed to finding a way to make the possible - even if improbable - happen. Too many focus on the fact that President Trump was a showman, and dismiss the fact that he was a deal maker in business first.

I do not foresee Carlson becoming a serious political force.

Tucker is too manic. His CPAC speech sounded like he was on amphetamines. He is better as a media influencer - a next Rush Limbaugh.

Conservatives are hungry for The Next Trump, but it remains to be seen whether anyone other than an independently successful billionaire can beat back the Deep State enough to be successful.
