"The real question to ask is “Does our federal government operate under consent of the governed?”

That's a good question.. Another question, and one that concerns me greatly, is the government acting in our best interest, or is there some other reason for their treasonous behavior..

Yes, I said treason.. They all raise their hand and swear allegiance to the Republic of the United States of America, that Constitution IS the United States of America.! It is the LAW of this land and to conspire against it is treason..

Maybe we should stress UNITED States more then we do now.. The stinking lawyers of DC seem to think it's all about California and New York.. New York City is nearly half foreign born, and California about 30%..!!

"The last “election” should have dispelled any doubts that we are not."

THAT is a very good point..! If that last election doesn't tell us exactly who and what we are, then we must be dumber then dirt.. We should be ashamed... :(

>>> Maybe we should stress UNITED States more then we do now.

The Constitution STILL gives us one avenue left short of the 2nd amendment...

That is the STATES right to convene for the purposes of a constitutional convention to which it could easily limit it’s purpose to abolishing and re-establishing the federal government.

I would probably throw in there a constitutional amendment defining when life begins, and a constitutional definition of marriage and sex... but besides that, the states have the right to fire in part or entirety of the federal government and start over.

I would start with both houses of congress... just fire them all to be fair.... Then the same thing with the Supreme court minus 3.

Walmart near me is about 50/50 mask usage for shoppers. Oddly, the small grocery store near me is about 80% mask free shoppers. Not sure what that says.

Does anyone remember when you cold ride in the back of a pickup or ride a motorcycle without a helmet? Or kids could climb trees and their parents wouldn't be arrested?

Can still do that where I live. I moved off of the East coast to rural MO and regained a lot of freedoms.

Yeah I live in rural area of Southern Oregon so I can get away with it too but it is still illegal.
