After months of opacity, New York revealed the true death toll of long-term care residents at more than fifteen thousand since the start of the pandemic. Until recently, the state’s health department reported roughly eighty-five hundred care home casualties.
In late March of 2020, Cuomo’s administration directed nursing homes to accept patients infected with the coronavirus. In theory, the directive would provide relief for overwhelmed New York hospitals. In reality, it was like throwing grenades in nursing homes. So, Cuomo attempted to draw a veil over the gruesome consequences. “Court orders, leaks, and investigations revealed that Cuomo dramatically and intentionally understated the pandemic’s toll on nursing home residents in New York,” reported Rachel Cohrs, a Washington correspondent for STAT.

A few days ago there was a lot of talk about the NY republicans filing articles of impeachment. I still can’t find anything about an actual filing.
I thought that Cuomo might resign by May due to the pressure. It looks like being a complete sociopath will keep him from resigning. Any other perv in that position would have already resigned.
He hasn’t fallen anywhere yet. “If” he’s ousted then he’s fallen otherwise it’s just noise to democrats and nothi G to see here.
There never was any grace.

That is true. The sex advances are not surprising or in and of themselves enough to impeach him. Clinton raped and groped and sullied the Oval Office and wasn’t removed from office. Cuomo hit on a bunch of pretty young women.Crude but part of a long term dose of power in a low life guy with no moral compass. He probably scored a few times or he would have quit. Those women will not come forward.
The impeachable deaths from covid would sully the Party and a bunch of other governors that would weaken the Democrat image. They will bury that.

A couple of thoughts. I turn my phone off when I go to bed. If someone is issuing threats, then they would be recorded. If she then went to the FBI, or some non-democrat controlled police, they could get an order to put a trace on her phone. I am not sure whether the tech exists to track phone over IP, but it may.
Another thing is to lead the caller to a “personal” email address. That’s more documentation and I suspect it is more traceable.
Another possibility is t hire a detective and give him (Oh, gosh! Sexist, it could be a her or some other pronoun) access to your devices. The way the police caught the BTK killer was the email captured the IP address of the killer.
Another way to do it is to wear a legal wire when talking to Cuomo. In Florida, it is against the law to record anyone without their knowledge. But, my lawyer said it’s useful to have someone on tape making a threat and the law was dealable.
When someone as high up as Cuomo is making threats, it’s a special case. Also, the calls could be stalking, which is a whole different thing legally speaking. This waiting years and years to make a complaint leads me to be very suspicious. I know I’m supposed to always believe the woman, but when the woman has something to gain or an axe to grind...well, I find the story much less credible. And, suddenly, the Democrats want Cuomo gone. As the article stated, it’s easier to deal with sexual harassment than the genocide of the elderly so he could balance the budget. In NY, to get into their elder care system you must turn over all your assets. My former boss had two relatives go into the NY system with multimillion dollar estates. When NY handed in their assets the state. Now, imagine how wonderful it is for the state if those people died early.
Cuomo will never resign. He has a personality disorder that prevents him from true self awareness. Does not stop others however from noting his faults. This vile man is best understood as the cuckold ( cornuto) who behaves as an agitated wimp. He does not have the courage to confront the man who seduced his wife or deal with his unfaithful wife in a definitive manner. Hence he goes about lashing out at people . He projects white Republican males as the polo playing gigolo who stole his honor. Young women around him and old women in nursing homes substitute for his wife. He has no courage or honor. He will never resign. Like all agitated wimps, he views himself as a victim.
I agree, he wants power and legacy. Worst case for him is he cuts a deal with the party to lay off and in return he won't run for the coveted 4th term.
They did, but the Dems run the show, totally.
