Mitt Romney knocked unconscious, suffers black eye, more than a dozen stitches after fall
Sen. Mitt Romney was knocked unconscious when he fell in Boston over the weekend, leaving him with “a lot of stitches” and a black eye. “I took a fall. Knocked me unconscious. But I’m doing better,” Romney told reporters on Capitol Hill Monday night.
The Utah Republican said he was visiting his grandchildren when he got injured.
“I went to CPAC, that was a problem,” he joked. Romney was not invited to the marquee event after receiving backlash over his vote to impeach President Donald Trump.
Asked how many stitches he received, Romney claimed he was not sure. “A lot. I don’t know how many. I asked the doctor how many stitches and she said, ‘I don’t know,’ but it’s all through my eyebrow and my lip.”

I am.
I have fallen lots of times before, for lots of reasons. Scrapes, sprains, bruises. I even broke a bone once from a very hard landing.
As soon as anyone topples, they land on their hands. They hurt elbows and shoulders. No one gives up their head and loses consciousness except in the most rare circumstances, and they don’t also get a black eye, which is also rare unless taking a hit from the front or oblique angle to the face.
He is definitely covering something up. Probably protecting someone in his family or orbit.
I'm pretty keen on gravity as well.
I fell into a door once.

What a jerk. Hope the fall knocked some sense into him.
I work with a guy who's in his mid-70's. He has low blood pressure and every couple of years he will stand up and immediately pass out and fall, with his head hitting whatever gets in the way. I've seen him with bruises and stitches from that several times.

He fell into place.
Someone had a talk with him.
Remember a few years back when Harry Reid had an exercise machine “accident” which produced similar injuries?

He realized what a jerk he is and beat himself up.
Walking while masked can be dangerous.
A serious fall, serious injuries ... but the most important element is left out of the reporting ... an essential part of every single news report in America today ... and element which, if left out, makes the rest of the reporting suspect, even irrelevant: Was Romney wearing his ever-present mask when he fell? If he wasn’t, the reporter missed the far bigger story ... ohhh, the horror!

Wow, maybe he has aged more that what shows. Did he lose his balance? How did he fall without having major scrapes on his hands?

Well I don’t know who put him in his place. Nobody on the right would do that.....and he’s a darling of the left, so what place was he put into?
I’ve fallen a few times; have always managed to land on my eye and lip. Yea right. He got his a$$ kicked out of ala Harry Reid.
