‘Whitewashing’ troubling attacks on Asian Americans

Judging by media and public displays, one might assume the KKK recently washed ashore in the San Francisco Bay Area.

A tragedy occurred last month when Vicha Ratanapakdee, an 84-year-old immigrant from Thailand, was fatally assaulted in San Francisco.

A rally among wokesters followed, with calls to “unite against white nationalism.” While it’s great to call out violence and racism, “my truth” does not count; facts still matter.

Antoine Watson, the 19-year-old charged with murdering Ratanapakdee, is black. Watson therefore probably is not a white supremacist. And most suspects in recent troubling attacks against Asian Americans are from other minority groups.

Across the bay two weeks ago in Oakland’s China Town, Yahya Muslim committed one of the highest-profile attacks on Asian Americans. Muslim is not a Klansmen either.

Matters aren’t helped when disingenuous outlets like CNN often avoid identifying the ethnicity of the recent assailants.

It seems progressive activists hope to use a spike in violent crimes against Asian Americans to ignore reality and promote their ideological agenda; unsurprisingly, this includes blaming former President Donald Trump’s rhetoric for the violence.

There’s always been a lot of anti-Asian prejudice among black Americans, it’s just a fact. Especially Korean grocery owners who are targeted as “exploiters”, and Asian-Americans who excel in magnet schools.

During the LA riots in 1992 a lot of Mexican people and Asian people were beat up because the mob could not find any white people to beat up.

Given the statistics, I wonder what would happen if whites took to the street every time a white person was killed by a minority.

The Asians are hated because they are hard working and successful. Many black people think that success comes at the expense of the Negro Race. Maybe if folks who were jealous of the Asians would emulate the Asians' recipe for success, then they could be successful too.

If I had to instruct young people of any race, I would emphasize delayed gratification. Without that habit, a person will have a hard financial future. Delay the bling and the $200 dollar Keds; live long and prosper.

And many of those thugs learned the hard way that Koreans were not the pushovers they thought they were. There is national conscription for men in Korea and each able-bodied man has to do at least two years of military training including learning how to use firearms.

Labeling people is easy. We should make a habit of labeling black criminals who attack Asians as "White Supremacists". It highlights the nonsense as nonsense.

The media deliberately doesn’t say WHO is attacking them. Hint: it’s the people who call a Chinese restaurant for delivery, then attack and kill the delivery guy, and eat the food while making fun of Chinese.

But Whitey is being blamed for it because Trump called the Chinese virus the Chinese virus.

Maybe, just maybe, whitey gets blamed because the different racist (and social) groups that use CRT to justify their racist theories have no “intersectionality” at all. But they all need a scapegoat.
