Sounds like Texas is becoming Mexico..Or California.
Don’t tell me: The left is blaming this on climate change. This is why they changed it from “global warming” to “Climate change” because with “Climate change” you can blame freezing temps on carbon emissions as well.
Isn’t everyone as happy as I am about how Our Dear President has signed, on his first day of office, an Executive Order that reduces energy products flowing into our country from Canada. I will sleep better here in Texas thanks to China Joe.
That’s all it takes to take Texas out, a little snow?
Is this all about frozen windmills or is there more to it than that. How on earth did energy rich Texas get to this point?
I feel bad for the people in Texas who are cold.
But I think it’s sort of hilarious that their ‘Green Energy’ is frozen.
(And what sort of energy do they use to manufacture those wind farm mechanisms, anyway?)
Thanks for posting that! That was a LOT of HTML to type in!!
Still trying to get in touch with friends outside of Austin, TX.
No word yet. They are transplanted Wisconsinites, so SHOULD have their wits about them and hopefully they took some winter clothing along with them. Sorrels and a hooded parka, at minimum, will get them through.
Only the beginning. Wait another 20 years...

Nature made its own border wall.
“we’ve officially hit the ‘Holy F#cking Sh*t Levels’ here...”
Hopefully this will be Biden’s ‘Katrina.’ Nah. The Enemy Media will be covering his lily-white butt! *SPIT*
I feel very sorry for those going through this. There will be deaths, no doubt.
Still can’t get a hold of Austin friends. :(
If noone had said this before. This will likely be the first time in recorded history that the entire state of Texas did not go above freezing for an entire day.
Have some of the Reddit people figured out how to profit on this? They are the ones with all of their lights on and hair dryers running.
This should be a lesson for the entire USA.
Texas, sitting on oil reserves that boggle the mind, fell for the stupid renewable energy scam and rather than expanding their power plants that operate on gas and coal, they build windmills.
I hope they survive with few deaths, but learned a lesson.
And if you are not warm today, maybe you can work up a sweat “lobbying”
the Pedodent about that pipeline cancellation?

You might as well ask for thorium reactors, too!
Clearly, wind and solar cannot without the mandates and subsidies. This is a harsh reality for Texans.
I often, when appropriate, remind people that New York and Chicago were buried under ice, and will be buried again. Nothing, and no one can stop the Great Cold. With enough repetition, SOME skulls full of mush can be influenced with the truth.
Generally, the cold lasts about 100,000 years, with periods of warmth from 10,000 to 15,000 years. This is the pattern we ‘know of’ right now. Other patterns have and will develop. For us, it is adapt or die.
Right now in many colder areas we use hydrocarbon fuels to keep the windmill mechanisms from freezing. When the Great Cold returns, I doubt it will be feasible to keep doing that.
To many, Texas is symbolized by oil wells. However, I heard on Fox News today that nowadays much of the state’s power generation comes from the sun and the wind.
Yipes. That firewood search thing scares hell out of me - if you’re looking for firewood at this point you’re pretty much hosed. Welcome to the wonderful world of the Green New Deal...
this is a pack of lies
my power has been out since
