Governors Andrew Cuomo of New York and Gavin Newsom of California were most definitely the Democrat Golden Boys of 2020. Their political prospects were riding high to the extent that both were viewed as having excellent chances of reaching the White House in the near future. However, as you can see, both have sunk beneath the waves in 2021 and their political futures are now considered finished for good.
Joe Biden was supposed to be washed up, too. But I get the point. We’ll see.

Interesting. 2 big state governors-the best stepping stone to the WH. Unfortunately their records will always point to failure due to their simple policies as executives being carried out. Rock throwers in the senate can hit and run at the best moment.
Dukakis was successful due to Reagans economy and defense research benefitting Taxachussits. Carter was a one term Gov.

The Democrats have to decide which ANDREW is worth saving, Gillum or Cuomo.
