There are all sorts of warning labels on all sorts of products, many of which fall somewhere in between common sense and downright silly. However, as most of us are aware by now, it appears that the makers of Gorilla Glue should have included a warning on their industrial-strength glue: Do not apply to your body or in your hair.
The saga began when Louisiana resident Tessica Brown ran out of her usual hairspray, göt2b Glued. So Tessica did what any rational person would do: she sprayed Gorilla Spray Adhesive all over her head.
Bad, bad, bad, bad, idea. Which is exactly what she said in a TikTok video last week....
According to NBCLX, “beauty standards of the Black community are not only scrutinized [discriminated against, you meant; just say it] in online dating, but also in the workplace....The “larger story,” according to NBCLX, is the plight of black women, due to “the societal pressure to accept that beauty is pain.”...

How many other black women wake up with their hair out of control, find they are out of some styling product that controls it, and just put on a black (or other color, for that matter) turban-type thing, head to work and then stop off at the store after work to buy what they ran out of?
And many look reasonably fashionable and even chic, depending on the turban-type thing.
I guess most white women who have a bad hair morning just put their hair in a ponytail or bun or something.
But what about the white woman with coarser or wiry hair who runs out of her stuff? Wouldn't she basically have the same issue as many black woman?
Can she so easily get away with a turban?
Check out my tagline. I expect to see late night infomercials featuring law firms offering services to those victims of Gorilla Glue. I certainly expect the law firm I use to do it. Dewey, Cheatham & Howe is always there to represent the oppressed.
Is Oppression the name of the woman’s sister, or her hair stylist?
you can bet that the idiot will play every card she can ...race card, poor card, girl card, etc....
AND, I’ll bet she can’t read cursive, either!
Hair straighteners are cultural appropriation and should be outlawed. Leave whitey’s hair styles alone.

And here's his take on the next (culturally oppressed) girl.

How about we blame good old fashioned stupidity?
Baloney. I have seen old photos of African women in Africa who had very elaborate hairstyles that had to be much more work-intensive and painful than what black women in America experience. That kind of hair is just part of the hand that nature dealt them. Blame God, I guess.
This person just needs to keep tabs on her hair care products so she doesn’t run out; or would that be oppresion too?
Yes, I could go with that. There must have been something around the house--even a cute hat--that this cretin could have used to have some decent hair for others to view for the working day, until she could stop off on her way home from work and replace the hair spray she ran out of. I also see that she did her eye makeup in such a way that she resembles a clown. So obviously, she is not very up on the proper use of beauty products. And just as obviously, she is, as you say, really stupid.
Katrina Pierson, Halle Barry... BEAUTIFUL! bette midler, barbara streisand... FUGLY! Skin color has NOTHING to do with it!
Of course. Racism. Black queens proclaiming they are the most beautiful women on earth, and how every other race of women want to look like them, doing everything possible to hide their African features.
Nobody remembers when blacks would “conk” their hair with lye and other chemicals to straighten it? Look it up.
Pretty amazing that Walmart sent the following email this morning about celebrating Black Owned businesses - half of the ones promoted were for beauty products.
google gorilla glue hair...
This is so much bloviation.
The operative word here is “glue”. Get it? It’s not a beauty product. It is a craft/manufacturing product.
Do not “glue” you hair to you head.
She needs to suffer for her stupidity, a self-correcting mechanism, not society’s fault, unless you want to blame it on leftist “woke” culture which is asleep at the wheel.
