Green is associated with GO or accelerating. These learned people are mistaken with suggestion of a green brake light. Just use a red light up front, drivers already know what the color red means!
So are there any other vehicle signal systems cramping your style ? or you just came to take your little dump and leave rather than describing in detail how this is a bad idea and why iyou conclude any good it could do would demonstrably be outwieghed by harm.... sorry lol wasting my breath

No the green signal is accurate. it tells you that the car is stopped or stopping and that if you decide to do so you can GO
The article gave me an idea . Instead of red brake lights, have them green. They stay on when you are NOT breaking and go off when you do . LEDs last a long time so make the green lights out of that.

This article came out almost 13 years ago and I have never heard of this. Seems like a bunch of nonsense to me, like that couple that goes all over the country trying to make the case for a 10 hour clock.

It was published 13 years ago because it would be hideously evil to withhold it with the hope of later commercializing it. it is too big an idea. say I sat on it and people died in the meantime? I published it to the world all those years ago and the government and car companies told me that though a fine idea, the future was self driving cars. It was a good idea then and is still a good idea now. Even a self driving car should be foreced to show people it is stopping even from the front!!
